Bloodlines of Tamriel - Volkihar has been released. This is an expansion to this mod check it out Nexusmods PC Oldrim
Announcement (Jan 2023) Judging by my lack of activity in the modding scene over the last year, some of you probably saw this coming, but I'm officially retiring from the modding scene. This means I will no longer be creating new mods or updating existing ones or be involved with my mods in any way, shape or form.
My reason for leaving the modding scene is simple. I want to create awesome things without being limited by the available tools. The Creation Kit allowed me to create some amazing things, but once you get to know it better you see it's limitations, particularly when it comes to creating brand new things from scratch. As someone with big ideas, the Creation Kit ended up being very frustrating to work with in the end. For this reason, I've decided to finally call it quits and officially quit from the modding scene; however, I won't be leaving the game industry all together...
I've always enjoyed creating mods and coming up with new exciting ways to make a game more fun, so I was like, why not make my own game? So I decided that starting from today, I will be working towards making and releasing my own videogames as a Solo Developer. In this way I will no longer be limited by the tools, but only by my own capabilities. My projects will start relatively small, but I've dreams of eventually working towards something big and maybe even integrating some of my mods into my own games. A man can dream, but the reality is that I've a long road of learning ahead of me, and nobody knows where it will end or what will happen along the way.
I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and for downloading my mods, modding Skyrim has truly been an amazing adventure that I won't forget. As for my mods, they will remain on Nexusmods and I've no plans to delete them. Using my mods will still require my permission.
If you would like to continue to follow me and my work, feel free to hop on my Discord server, where I will post updates when it's time to show off some of my work. So, for now this is a goodbye, but who knows, maybe we will meet again in the future, be that in mods or games.
A damn shame that the MCM options don't change anything. Which is a shame as I downloaded it purely so I could have reverse progression, getting attacked only when I hadn't fed for long enough.
Please, in the future, make the Bloodline of Tamriel (Sanguinair Vampirism) be compatible with Overhauls like Ordinator, Perkus Maximus, Requiem and Vampire mods like Better Vampire and Sacrosanct.
Regards and moar POWAH, -Do not set the mod to hidden, like the others, for i will test the mod and give my feedback after I sort my load order
It should be compatible with perk tree overhauls I wouldn't see why not. I'm not going to make the mod compatible for other vampire overhauls, as there will simply be too much changed and it's impossible to make a patch that allows for both mods to shine.
This mod won't be set to hidden until the version is released probably within 1-2 months. This version is far behind on the new version however and much has been completely reworked. There is a Alpha test in the discord however for the latest version.
Vampire mods do not play well with eachother. The majority of such mods failing to function is directly attributable to folks attempting to run them togeather, and it just does not work. No amount of patching, reguardles how good the author is, can change this; it's simply the nature of the beast.
Find a vamp overhaul you like and stick with it. Trying to run several of them at once will not end well.
Love the mod. Simple and makes vampires better without overly complex menus. Only issue I have is sometimes my MCM settings seem to not save and if I fast travel I die instantly from sun damage
I'd suggest reading through more posts. This mod is broken and apparently abandoned. It's really a terrible shame, as this mod was fantastic when it worked, and had tremendous potential. So it goes.
I have a problem for some reason I can't make that old moth priest my thrall I use vampire subduction on him and bite him but no quest update telling me to tell him where to go ik what to do but I can't interact with him after I bite him
Common bug with several vamp overhauls, and possibly vanilla as well. You'll have to use a setstage command to progress:
Setstage DLC1VQ03Vampire 70
Should pop you past that bit. Entering 200 instead of 70 should complete Prophet entirely. Be sure you save before you start messing with console commands.
Very nice, pity that it is incomplete, at high levels (legendary) not strong enough, the lack of the same skills on other vampires breaks the work done. Simple tips
