    Thank you so much it gave me 5 more fps on my 11 years old potato laptop.. now i have 20 to 27 fps depends on the location.. but yeah sometimes I still get some lag like 1 to 5 fps but that's on my Potato laptop.. anyway thank you again for making my Skyrim playable again..

    Thank you for this. It does give some extra FPS for my poor potato, without hurting the visuals at all in my opinion. :)

    Good start there are many ways to boost FPS and grass is definitely a big one.
    My favorite method for FPS boost is in the ENBlocal in enboost
    [WINDOW]
    ForceBorderless=true
    ForceBorderlessFullscreen=true

    This uses memory as if it is in windowed mode yet looks like fullscreen for me it boosts performance slightly yet it may not work for everyone.

    Also Grass on steroids can boost performance a bit (RTFM or it will decrease it)

      I RTFMd very, very carefully and repeatedly, but Grass on Steroids dropped my FPS to around 5 (w/many freezes of several seconds), nonetheless, even on 100 and (IIRC) 128. YMMV. . .A lot.Depends heavily on the physical setup and quirks in individual installs.

    thanks, I used TG all the time for my poor laptop and resized hundreds of textures, but I didn't know about these commands. going to run this bat every time I log in for maximum potato relief.

    Thanks. We'll give it a go. While not a true potato, I could use an upgrade to my 3GB card!
