Does anyone know whether there is an additional mod that removes all the torches from appropriate dungeons (not so much the Ratway for example, or draugr ruins where people have been more or less recently like the first part of Bleakfalls)?

Sadly the mod is incompatible with SMIM as the torch scone meshes get replaced.

I noticed some torches in the Ratway were not removable.

Since this mod has been abandoned, please check out Interactive Torch Sconces, which supports Skyrim, all DLC, as well as many other mods, such as Falskaar, Requiem, and Wyrmstooth.

It looks like the author of that mod took it down as it was not working correctly, apparently.

Unfortunately I think this mod is a bit broken at the moment.

1 - Torches can be removed and replaced in sconces, that's about it.

2 - The light source is not removed/replaced when the torches are, but remains even when the torch is removed.

3 - The mod cannot be cleanly uninstalled, but leaves a "double" torch sconce consisting of the vanilla sconce and the removable sconce. Presumably its changes are written into your save file.

The problems occur with no other torch or lighting mods/fixes in place.

To me, point 3 is a deal breaker. If you haven't made a clean save just prior to installing dynamic torches, you are stuck with the double torches from then on should you decide to uninstall Dynamic torches. The fact that the developer has not made a single comment in this thread in over 6 months doesn't bode well for these problems being fixed.

Kudos, thanks for posting this, was considering using this but if it's buggy then no way.

The issue is addressed by the author of a similar mod:
"Unfortunately, Interactive Torch Sconces doesn't really work correctly.
While torches were definitely replaceable in torch sconces, Bethesda used light markers instead of actual light-emitting torches to simulate light.
This meant that you could remove a torch from a torch sconce but the light would remain because the torch was not linked to a nearby light marker. Or, worse, nothing would happen because there wasn't a nearby light marker.
Aside from manually placing hundreds of light markers near removable torch sconces, or creating and using a different light-emitting torch mesh and then removing thousands of light markers, there isn't a great way to make this mod possible or even compatible with the many great lighting mods.
It's strange that something so simple was made so nearly impossible to achieve. It would take a team to get this done.
If you think this a project worth resurrecting and you're willing to get involved, send me a message. With enough people, we could parcel out the work."

There's a couple of torches in a large room of the Goldenglow manor sewers that are non-replacable, is this intended?

In my game, I have a torch sconce "glow stack" problem, which is very similar to the Nirnroot glow stack. Does this mod alleviate that problem too? If not, do you know of a mod that could fix this? Whenever I go into a dungeon, I take a torch off of the sconce; the ambient lighting disappears, but an image of the torch remains on the sconce, and these images seem to replicate. The flame from some of these replicating torches is completely opaque.

Well, this mod messes quite a bit if you decide to "uninstall" it. Since the author doesn't seem to care I... don't recommend it.

BUG SOLVED - Light remaining after torch removal.

Re-install the Mod Manually. Thats it.
