Thank you everyone, from the bottom of my heart for all the support! My first foray into Skyrim modding is complete. I can say that I'm happy with the state it's in, even though it still has a few kinks. I have invested so much of my being into this thing, and although I'm incredibly grateful for its surprising success, I will be discontinuing work on this, and the SSE port, for the time being. I hope you guys understand.
There are a couple other projects I have in the works, so be on the lookout for them. This whole process has been a learning experience for me, so expect these other works to (hopefully) be less buggy. They'll come when they're ready!

Terrific mod! Why this is buried on page 3 is unfathomable, it is such a pretty and well thought out adventure, quite unlike anything I've ever played in Skyrim. Here's hoping everyone endorses this and it gets a bit more visibility on the Nexus.

I'm sure this is a great mod judging by the comments. However, I experience a crash when I try to enter the Sundered Core from any method. I have no clue why, because no error pops up and no indication is given. I would very much like to continue this mod but this is a bug that prevents me from doing so - any help?
My modlist is somewhat long but if there are any known incompatibilities aside from what is mentioned please do let me know and I'll say if I have them or not.
I use a lot of things in a somewhat-stable network such as ENBoost, Crash fixes, Safety Load, and a whole bunch of other patches and things. It has worked well for everything else with few to no CTDs, but apparently here I get a CTD entering the Sundered core. Please help, thanks!
I found this mod through MxR's channel years ago, then forgot what it was called exactly. Now that I'm watching through his videos I found it again. Setting up this beautiful mod to be in my next playthrough. It looks so visually aesthetic and interesting. Thanks for making this mod, VzRedemption.
В целом мод хороший. Огорчает, что в некоторых местах текстур нет или недоделаны до конца. А так сам остров очень понравился. Красивая природа. Не хватает правда оленей, кроликов обычных зверей в лесах и когда ходишь по первой локации, кажется и пустынно выглядит всё. И при битве с драконами, бывает баг, когда главный улетает вверх и чтобы вернуть его, надо зайти в другую локацию и потом снова вернуться и тогда он спустится и можно добить его. А так мод огромный по сравнению с другими. Всё красиво и гармонично смотрится. Я проходил его с интересом)))
A very beautiful mod, i loved exploring the dream land, it looked stunning with rudy enb, i also liked how the mod doesn't hold your hand like vanilla skyrim or other quest mods, i had one bug where the first gate didnt open after i insert the 3 orbs, that was easily fixable by using tcl tho and it didnt break anything later on, i was kinda disappointed that i couldn't keep anything from the voyage tho tbh, i was collecting the unique stuff and i always store them in my player home as mementos to remember by haha, overall a nice little adventure in a new beautiful world.
It's making my game CTD with error "Game has crashed with exception address 0x8C692A". Sadly I'm going to get rid of it since it doesn't seem to be developed anymore, sucks reading the comments praising it.
I don't use this word often; in fact, I've used it only about twice so far in my descriptions of mods. But this one -- gods above -- if anything deserves to be classified as a masterpiece, it is Voyage to the Dreamborne Isles. This is utterly jaw-dropping; astonishingly brilliant; constantly surprising and wondrous.
Having said that, I must honestly add that it isn't actually perfect. The one problem I noticed was the voice acting. Yet, I must point out that in order to achieve truly quality voice acting, there are so many hurdles that must be jumped, I'm surprised that anyone is ever able to pull it off. Even Bethesda, with its studio-quality tech and professional actors, often lets the ball drop. So, the fact that this mod suffers from some (not all) poor results can most certainly be forgiven, in the light of all the overwhelming positives offered for our enjoyment. The worst case I noticed was some extremely grating popping of the "p"s during "The Woodpeak Phantom", the quest where you gather the 9 spirits for the ghost "Aryana". Aryana, when her actress speaks to you, has a very unnerving habit of boomingly popping her "p"s. This could have been solved with a simple, cheap filter placed in front of or over the microphone. But I'm guessing that the problem was not even detected until it was too late to re-record her part. The remainder of the voice acting was at least average and I did not notice any further technical difficulties with any of the other actors or their recordings.
What is most impressive regarding this mod is just how many layers you can uncover. It seems to go on forever, in a most pleasing manner. Just when you think you've reached the end of some quest or discovery, another layer presents itself and you're off again on yet another mesmerizing adventure. This is extremely well done I must say. I was never bored; never confused; never dissatisfied. It was one marvel after another, after another. Simply wondrous.
Besides the game/quest design, I must point out that I have never, ever found my character within an environment that is so gorgeous, so beautifully impressive. It seems that no matter where I turned the camera/character, there was something heart-breakingly beautiful to see. This in and of itself would have been enough to satisfy me, seeing as it is so well done, so hypnotic and entertaining by itself. But this is just the ground layer of wonder to enjoy. On top of that, there are the quests. Taken all together, this mod should most definitely be voted for some special award of achievement. Any masterpiece of this supreme level most certainly deserves it.
I almost forgot to mention the music. Gods, what gorgeous sounds. That moody, atmospheric piano music is more than hypnotic and captivating. It goes right to my very soul. I will be searching for that sound-track to have apart from the mod. Every time I hear this music, I'm transported back to the Isles. Absolutely magical!!!
My complaint, my ONLY complaint, my ONE objection, is that this is quite strictly a solo mod. You simply cannot invite a follower. Of course, any follower can enter the Isles. And they can, to a degree, exit the house into the Isles. But that's it. From that point on, your follower will just stand there like a dummy. They won't interact with you, or speak to you. This, in my opinion, and considering the environment presented in this mod, is a serious defect. It isn't as though your follower would be in the way or present any kind of hindrance or complication to any of the quests. In fact, a follower might even help you with some of the quests. But, for some weird reason, they just aren't allowed. They don't "work". It's as though their AI and everything else that makes them who they are just switches off and that's that. A real shame. I can't think of a better experience than being able to share this with a close follower or a spouse. That would be truly wonderful, if the author could manage this.
