I will not update this mod anymore. However, SSELODGen/DynDOLOD (and only this one) version for skyrim SE is 100% compatible (and will probably always be), just download it and install it from here:
Having issues with DynDOLOD generation where a lot of textures are missing and I'm getting a purple landscape. Can you please suggest a fix? I'm not sure where to post my doubt but DynDOLOD requires LOD files, thought I'd ask here since I'm using these files.
(I have SSE too and am using your LODs and DynDOLOD for it and they are absolutely phenomenal!)
This mod is almost 3 years old but when I added it with DynDOLOD... WOW!! Massive difference... I can see High Rothgar from Dragonsreach CLEARLY! I'm impressed
EDIT - Nevermind. I just realized that the description under the file specifically says to use tes5lodgen, which answer both my questions, lol. Thanks anyway.
I've got a question I'm not really sure about.. I'm using Noble Skyrim 5.3 for original skyrim. In the description for noble skyrim, it says that I can find LOD files that match NSM here. I see that you have those files, but what I am unsure about is whether or not I still need to use DynDOLOD as well. Can I just download the NSM LOD files here and install them and be good to go, or do I need to use DynDOLOD to generate them?
Yes I have (not white, but less blue at least). They are present in the last SSE version. If you want to use them you can:
-install this version (don't run DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen now) -download manually the new SSE version and delete the terrain folder (in data/texture) before installing, overwrite. -run TexGen as usual. -run DynDOLOD orTes5LODGEN.
Just finished making my own custom lod for ETaC alternate texture farmhousess, solitude farmhouses, windmill and silo lods and whiterun city wall lods. The job I did is ok but I would like to make a better job in future - any tips for me to make lods as good as yours?
Since the SE version has been updated for NS 5.0, is there any reason we can't use those files in Oldrim? I know there are some differences between texture formats, so I wasn't sure.
Not "as is", since the SSE version is designed to be used without DynDOLOD and then have the new SSE format for the Lod Texture Map.
If you really want to use it in Oldrim you can do the following: -install this version (don't run DynDOLOD or TES5LODGen now) -download manually the new SSE version and delete the terrain folder (in data/texture) before installing, overwrite. -run TexGen as usual. -run DynDOLOD and Tes5LODGEN.
no I don't have it actually. If you prefer the V1 version of Glacier I suggest you to download the "less blue" file from the Skyrim SE page of this mod, delete the terrain folder and install it, it will be compatible.
