Holy cow, an update! I've completely reworked this file, better standardizing, organizing, and expanding it. Changes include: standardized fresco sizes (no more version fiddling), new stained glass lanterns and shrine bases, a mosaic version, and edits to all the shrines I missed the first round. Enjoy!
If you take good screenshots of the new stuff, upload it! I'd love to see your pictures.
Edit: New mini-update! You can now install the "old" version without lanterns or shrine bases. See the description for details. There are some new updates in the works to cover a few missed locations as well.
No where on the mod page is the Unofficial Patch listed as a requirement. I wouldn't have even downloaded this if I'd have known it was a hard requirement. It's a serious shame; I was looking forward to adding these beautiful frescoes to my game.
Thanks for this awesome mod! Any chance for a compatibility patch with Johnskyrim's Shrines of the Divines so that the shrine base uses his shrinebase.nif mesh? Or wondering how one might go about making that change manually?
As the user, Rammsestein, pointed out here, this puts Bethesda's... ''efforts'' to shame.
As usual.
Anyone who has hope for ES VI to be any better than Skyrim is fooling themselves. Gaming has entered into an era of bland mediocrity, fueled by companies eager to copy one-another's work, rather than even attempt anything even marginally innovative themselves.
Thankfully, we have the indie scene, which is filled by passionate small and even single-team game dev's who know they 'have' to get it right the first time. You know: how the gaming industry we know 'started off', before greed and laziness set in.
Can i install this mid game? I have 200h in my save so just asking? :/ Since just today i visited the Temple and ugh vanilla temple is so much garbage.. Just plain wall and the shrines... WOW Bethesda just WOW What happened to the amazing Cathedrals from Oblivion?
Really would love to add it but i'd rather not break my save?
They got fat and lazy; that's what happened. Don't get your hopes up for ES VI either: Skyrim's undeserved success ensured that it will be just as bland, empty and sterile as Skyrim was (or worse).
Came across the SSE version today and fell in love with it. So had to come by here to download the LE version. Won't be needing it but it was the only way I could endorse your wonderful work .. and kudos as well. Thank you.

This mod is officially updated for SSE! Go download it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5853/?
I hope you all will enjoy this as much in Special Edition as you have in Old Skyrim. :)
Note: This is only for the 1.0 version.
