The game does not start with your ENB active. It wants to start loading, works for a few seconds and then stops before there is a blackscreen or Bethesda Intro or even the main menu. No crash, no error message, it just stops loading after a few seconds.

If i uninstall your ENB and install one of my other about 10 favourite presets, no problems. There has to be a file in your preset that does not work with my game, but i have no idea what it could be. And i never had that issue with another ENB before, and i tried about 60 different presets.

    Any idea?

You could try setting a different alternative library .dll in the enbseries.ini file..

I think by default, i use dxgi.dll here, try the dxd9_fxaa one.

Does your rig work with other ENBs? Sounds like you are missing some file(s) if this is the case either way.

My Skyrim crashes with your ENB. I really like the way it looks, it was also recommended to my by a friend, but I don't know what's causing the crashes. I believe the source is something to do with the "ENB Series" bit but I'm not sure.

    Intel i5 Quad Core
    Intel HD Graphics 5000
--Yes the game runs on this thing

I don't know if having an integrated graphics card requires a different type or version of ENBSeries or not, but I think I might. If there is an answer I'd love to know!

There's no way you can run an enb with those specs.

I need more information, it is possible to run ENB even on an iGPU, but you'd need to lower your settings as far as the actual skyrim quality settings go.

You say it crashes, that sounds to me like a driver issue, I'm sorry I don't have an intel iGPU 5000 series to test, maybe ask around because I doubt if its crashing that it only crashes with my preset.

I went back in and deleted all the mods and configurations and basically reset my Skyrim and tested it with the vanilla, and that ran; then I re-installed the ENB. It ran and crashed the first time before I reset, this time it didn't even show the logo screen. I find it really weird that I've run a simple (incredibly simple) ENB before, but I cannot run yours. I'll figure it out.

What version of the binaries you were able to run? So far, the earlier 0.113 up to 0.120 were the only versions that can be easily used without bogging down your PC. Otherwise, laptop graphics aren't the best to run ENB binaries because current versions are very performance heavy and that said graphics are only a fraction of the desktop equivalent.

Did you set the enblocal.ini to your hardware? Check the name of your video card and the memory settings. As far as I know integrated chipset graphics do not have dedicated video ram. And depending on the BIOS settings the amount of system memory used may be dynamic. Enter your BIOS and set this amount to a fixed size, e.g. 2048 MB. Enter enblocal.ini and set ReservedMemorySizeMb=256 and VideoMemorySizeMb=2048.

Could add more detailed description, system requirements, and installation procedures, as not everyone is knowledgeable on ENB and presets.

Also, don't pack a zip within a zip -- because it's necessary for some people to look into your archived preset.

mod author i see that you have included in the rar (within the rar) the enbhost.exe and d3d9.dll plugins. These are strictly not allowed to be uploaded to the nexus as stated on the enb website. Please repackage your mod without those two files and give in the description which enb version to download from the enb website.

I will do this in the interest of fair play, but to be clear.. a hacked d3d9.dll is not exactly copyrightable material to begin with.

Microsoft owns the copyright on directx9, not to mention several of the implementations for the features included in enbseries have not been properly licensed to begin with.

These are posted as well on the nexus as nexus rules and your material can be pulled by a nexus moderator for having that content in. I am trying to help you, not discourage you.

Hi - Looks nice. Just a word of warning, Boris does not allow people to include his DLL file on Nexus. They must get it from enbdev.com. You will need to remove it from your ZIP and re-upload the preset without it. On uploading images - did you try one at a time and did you make sure the are JPG files and not over the limit?

I've removed d3d9.dll from the package and added a link to his site.

On the uploading images side of thing, one at a time works but its too much effort to add 30-40 images one at a time.

With regards to image size, the images are on average 50kb each.. not large at all :|

Cool - bummer about the images though. I have heard other folks have the same problem ... whiles others have no issues. I wonder if it could be a membership thing that limits the number.

Amazing ENB, my game looks beautiful and very fluid with it ! But I'd like to have less britgness due to sunlight, please can you tell how to fix it with the editor when in game ?

Thank you for answering and again great work easy to install, no fps drop, and beautiful !

      Depends on a few things:

What time of day would you like to be less bright?

Are you asking that the environment's lighting be lowered or the brightness of the sun?

Have you tried lowering your brightness in your in-game settings first?

Typically the relevant settings are directlightingintensity and ambientlightingintensity for how bright the environment is, note that during the day I use a fair bit of bloom as well, so that's under bloom

Yes I'm talking about the Brightness of the sun, I'll check under bloom as you recommended thank you

If you're talking about the sun's brightness (ie: how bright it is when you look at the sun, not just how well lit the world is), that setting is under proceduralsun.

No need just extract the files in the skyrim main directory and it's done, the version of the enb is included in the archive

you can't include any of the enb plugins with the nexus files, your enb configuration files. the enb plugins from the enb website must only be downloaded from the enb website.

a tipp: include more shots from other locations and characters! oh, and interior shots aswell, otherwise this will not be a good showcase of your ENB!

You have to remove the files that start with "enb" .... enbhost.exe, also d3d9.dll, and also the folder "enbseries" . Found in your Skyrim directory.
