??? It works perfectly. Just select the 2nd dialogue option then persuade him to be honest about Maven then do it as many times as you like. If it doesn't work for you, you either have another mod affecting merchant npc's dialogue or a load order issue.
I never understood why they 'fixed' some of these anyway. Glitches, Armor ratings, thing's not being able to be tempered, yeah. Thing's like this or the caravan chests which were out of the way and you actually had to seek them out never made any sense to me. If I want to cheat, that was my business and I had a choice. Are people incapable of choosing not to cheat? Anyway, thanks.
They're bugs. The entire purpose of USKP is to fix bugs. Regardless of whether they're "out of the way" or not, they're still bugs, and fall under the intended purpose of that mod. If you want to cheat, then mods like this exist.
