Thought I'd try this in Skyrim AE as there's nothing like this for AE or SE atm. It appears to load up and work however I get message when entering object mode telling me something along the lines of "You can't do that here". I was trying to do this inside the Tundra Homestead (player home from one of the AE Creation Club mods). Anyone have any thoughts on why that might be and if there's a way around this?
If I put a table in the center of the room, will my wife and children stumble over it? If so, then your mod is no better, or even worse, than Jackson's positioner.
Its not the fact that its better or worse, you forget, placing a table in the middle of the room, means any npc other than yourself, will walk into stumble over it, because your blocking their pathing that was created for them... I don't fully understand about mod creation, nor do I know anything about ck , but a little I've picked up is there are pathing lines that npc's use to walk to / walk around things , you stick something over them, they don't have another path to take to get around it ...
This is a really excellent mod, its very efficient to use. Needs improvement on Object selection (needs selected object name indicator), better targeting system (targeting ceiling objects from the ground doesn't work because the Player needs to be above the object to select it), also much better if the mouse wheel could be used for selected object distancing, to place objects more precisely. Its an excellent and unique mod that doesn't deserve to be abandoned. With a proper UI and more supported items, this mod will receive the due its worth.
Just select and drop (Press R) from the menu. And then press E to activate the mod and it will notify you in the top left of the screen (like quests). Then aim with crosshair at a desired object and it will turn green (Note - only objects supported by the mod will turn green.), then press E to move the selected object, or press R to pick up and store in inventory / delete from environment. Make a backup save everytime before using the mod, then experiment with the mod to understand it.
wow thank you so much for this mod. it seem to work for skyrim se. couldn't seem for find this mod for se. if thier is not one for se will you be adding more furniture from the other dlc? also I seem to be getting double what I put down. thank you so much for your hard work.
The USLEP patch is demanding that ManicZombieFurnitureMovement.esm be loaded before Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esm, which seems iffy to me. Is LOOT wrong, or is the patch's order of masters wrong?
