UPDATE: RUSTIC CLOTHING - COMPLETE now comprises every texture found in the clothing folder. I decided to be a completist, and redo everything, even if those items weren't technically clothing. That's why I retextured the bandit/fur armor, even though it really belongs in the armor textures... but that's Bethesda organization for you. I also retextured the "minor" items of the bandages and the wounds (which are found on the dead body of Susanna the Wicked in the Windhelm graveyard), even if they aren't truly clothing. With the latest update, the Masque of Clavicus Vile, the Execution Hood, and Ulfric's Gag have been added. At last, I can say that RUSTIC CLOTHING is complete.
RUSTIC CLOTHING is a high resolution clothing texture overhaul for Skyrim. Every piece of clothing in the game is now included. The main file is now labelled RUSTIC CLOTHING - COMPLETE. This file contains all the clothing in the base game + all the DLC. The underwear is also included. One simple download for people who own all the DLC.
If you don't own all the DLC, then you can download the individual files for the content that you do have. The base game clothing is available in the RUSTIC CLOTHING - SKYRIM file. Each DLC has it's own file, and the underwear is found in the optional download section.
All the diffuse textures have been revised to look better with the vanilla game lighting. Shading is more subtle now, and the overall value is a bit lighter. The normal maps for the female wench and the blacksmiths have been redone since I revised the leather textures for those two outfits.
A special thank you to all who have endorsed, voted, or donated to this mod. It is gratifying to know that my work has found an appreciative audience.
Cheers, Gamwich
P.S. The user gallery is open, so please feel free to post screenshots there. I always enjoy seeing my textures used in people's games under different lighting conditions.
Sorry people, but I don't do requests, so please stop asking.
It takes an incredible amount of time to make these textures to begin with, so the last thing I need is people wanting variations of things. I don't have the time, or the desire, to make multiples of these textures, sorry.
Fantastic retextures . I have tried them wih skimpy versions of vanilla clothing and that was'nt very good . I came back to Vanilla and that's awesome ! i re-discover how Skyrim clothes are beautiful if we use them with good textures . Thank you very much for this great and artistic work .
Hey, does anyone else have a propleme with purple textures? I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is, but the female Skaal have purple hats and gloves. What can I do there? Any Help is Welcome.
When you see 'purple' stuff, that's where the texture is missing... perhaps overwritten by another mod, maybe even a corrupted download, either way try reinstalling the textures for that (any purple texture) mod, and all should be ok. I ran this mod for ages and all was fine... always!
If for some reason you must have the LE version of this mod and not the SE/AE version then you will need to convert it. Or go to the SE page on SE Nexus and get that.
Hello, good sir, both mods retexture the underwear of Player and NPC characters. As far as i know Skysight using the vanilla layout for the underwear and should be absolutely compatible with Rustic Clothing. Just decide what texture you like more.
I guess a problem with Skysight. It has in fact still a bug present in current version with one of the head textures for orcs. If i remember correctly it is a wrongly named file and/or in the wrong folder.
After installing this mod, all dead bodies render without their clothes equipped, could be a separate issue, but I wanted to see if others here had the same problem.
