Hey I know it means nothing, but when axes break, they normally break directly under the metal part/the metal part breaks off from the handle, not in the middle of the wood. I don't use campfire/frostfall, its my bad if your not the one who made the mesh. Amazing texture, though, its great.
I wanna use this mod but i'm a bit confused. Do I need Frostfall, Campfire and Dual Sheath Redux to use this? I don't use any of those mods. I just want the retexture is all.
Do I need the Campfire patch and the Frostfall patch? Or is the Campfire patch included with the Frostfall patch since Campfire is a required mod for Frostfall?
Also looking through the file structure I see data>textures>HalkHoganPL. I haven't tried it yet, but how would the game know where to pull the texture from if you name the file after yourself?
Really nice detailed reworking of the axe. This looks like something Jason Voorhees would be pleased with.

I downloaded every retexture of yours and use almost every retexture of but two. I tested the other 2 and went with Ores that were a bit brighter, but for pure realism this retexture has trumped about everything else I've seen on Nexus in regards to the everyday items - the axe and the pickaxe are pretty mind blowing looking. Every file so far I use in game are all your High Quality ones and you can really see the difference. If the entire game could look like this wow. You would have a major project on your hands. Great work. I've endorsed the rest of the retextures I've used.
Great mod. I only wish it was supported with the two-handed combat mod. I'd like to take on skyrim with nothing but alcohol and my trusty wood axe, but it seems silly using it as a one-handed axe.
HalkHogan, love your work. I have just about all your mods installed in my game. I have a question concerning the Campfire Patch you have included in your optional downloads. I know I need it in order for your axe textures to show up on the axe attached to the campfire backpack, but with your patch, I get clipping of the axe handle into the bedroll/tent at the bottom of the pack. Without your mod, there is no clipping of the axe handle. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

btw. if u like texture replacements check UHD blacksmith from renthal, it's fantastic, I am wondering which one is better though
