The next version... I might expand it a bit further, like making some parts of the ruin accessible and liveable, even add a few token Markarth guards, knowing that the ruins still have strategic value for the hold, and perhaps even a memorial marker to remind passerby of the ruins' role in Tamrielic history.
For further reading, I recommend the UESP article.
UPDATE (6/5)
2.5 beta includes the Undercroft, which has Forsworn Specters haunting it. Requires at least level 20 to survive the Undercroft, but take note that you'll experience a slight FPS drop when first entering it, because it has some lot of stuff to load into memory.
I tried to convert it into a worldspace, but for some reason during testing I CTD'd when attempting to enter through the door or by the COC command.
UPDATE (6/30)
I was to work on the Skyrim Bridges version of this mod, but my day job caught up with me during the weekend, and then home priorities. However, I'm currently editing and testing this version. Should be out of the door within 24-48 hours NOW.
UPDATE (10/19)
Just removed the excess lot of skeletons in both dungeons, and then I ran a test with a four-man party, with all the goodies. Didn't crash once, even with summons, and had the most white-knuckle fight ever, although with Combat Evolved on, getting killed by hard lightning from a Spectre is a PITA.
UPDATE (4/23/17)
Give me another week to get most of the mods ported over to SSE -- I had my hands full in IRL killjoy work after Easter so unable to do further testing between Monday and now.
COMPATIBILITY NOTES
Apachii Divine Elegance has its store right where the stele is sited. Only problem is that the stele is in the same place as the alchemy table, and some characters may move strangely because of the changes in the navmesh. This mod has been updated, with the stele now moved westward away from the store.
SSE VERSION
The SSE version of this mod is now available for downloading:
The patch is compatible, but if you're using Apachii's Divine Elegance Store, that column will be sticking right out of the house, so it's not updated yet.
thanks! hell i can delete or move that column. i know that Shezrie's Old Hroldan town needs a patch for Interesting NPCs. does anyone know if this Ruins mod needs one?
First i'd like to say great job on this mod! Thanks for this.
Second i'd like to ask about this:
Checking for Errors in [15] OldHroldanRuins.esp [00:05] [REFR:15000D97] (places NULL - Null Reference [00000000] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of OldHroldanExterior03 [CELL:00009A21] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at -28,-3)) [00:05] REFR \ NAME - Base -> Found a NULL reference, expected: ACTI,ADDN,ALCH,AMMO,APPA,ARMA,ARMO,ARTO,ASPC,BOOK,CONT,DOOR,FLOR,FURN,GRAS,IDLM,INGR,KEYM,LIGH,LVLC,LVLN,MISC,MSTT,SCRL,SLGM,SNDR,SOUN,SPEL,STAT,TACT,TREE,TXST,WEAP
i don't know what is supposed to go there since it's a record added only by this mod and i got a null reference.
The latest Enhanced Edition has no error, but the standard one does. The standard version is still at 1.0 in the main files. Could you recheck the standard version again and make sure there are no errors please?
Again a beautiful Mod and perfect without anything else but the stable added on with my game plus all the DLC Kudos and you deserve many more for this job on adding the old walls and story lore going with this place I wish most artists would think on those lines when redoing a very important place like this to the story line. Of course each to their own way Your mod is a keeper as it is for me Many thanks again

Translations with only the plugin, yes, just message me.
But the whole mod... Nope.
Happy Mod Author Appreciation Day.

I used the normal version not the enhanced.

I have already run TES5EDIT twice on this and found no error.

Find the record REFR:01000D97 and then delete it.
Will test and then upload the cleaned version.
