I've checked this mod with TES5Edit and it seems there are two ITM records are you aware of it? The soul trap for weapons is still OK but the soul trap spell is malfunctioning eq. when you cast the soul trap spell there is no spell projectile hitting the enemy. I don't know if this mod is already abandoned but if not kindly reply thanks.

Thanks for commenting this. I won't download it. Mods like this should have a warning or simply shouldn't be allowed.

so does this remove the glow only, or also the effects? i cant believe its 2023 and i still have not been able to find a mod that removes the magical swirls around the character when drinking a potion. why do potions create magical healing swirlies around me?

Who is Taco ? I found a book names "The Tacos Mistake" ... I know "The Talos Mistake".

Edit: Doesn't work with Wet and Cold. Backpacks still have shaders. Works with Immersive Looting fpr example, no shaders on the amulets.

Is this working the mod "Highlander Race"?
    http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=138590258
It have some custom passive abilities which makes the player character glowing, with armors and without, maybe all or one of the abilities does it.
If its not working on this mod, any chance for a compatibility patch?
Please, I have no idea how to make one for myself.
Or, is there a cheatcode that disables this glow?

Soul trap spell is broken please kindly fix. I tried disabling your mod and the spell is OK again.

I don't know if you're still paying attention to this thread, but you asked if anyone here used any character overhaul mod like SkyRe.

I use Requiem, and I don't think I'll ever stop using it lol. It's incredibly good--the changelog is huge, but it makes things much more challenging / gritty / unnecessarily difficult / realistic. Removes level-scaling afaik, and the like.

So if I do NOT want to remove the shader effects from weapons, I use only the xWeapons esp?

EDIT: And if you want lots of rain, try Supreme Storms by Manny GT. It's not scripted either so you can uninstall without consequences.

EDIT EDIT: And does this touch mage armor?

Are there any compatibility issues with other mods? Though a lot has changed i wonder about (for example) Sounds of Skyrim or Burn Freeze Shock Effects and so on?

For "Shaders BG" - Nothing like a ctd or such, oddities at worst, nothing you can't tes5edit.
If you use a mod that changes, say - soul trap to do something fancy via scripts, then obviously load order is important.
Load the scripted mod last and then open both in tes5edit and edit the last mod.
Change (just drag'n'drop) the shader fields to match Shaders BG and then do the same for the sound entries and say yes to the dependency confirmation, or, copy the sound descriptors as new records into the last mod and set the sound entries to these.

For the Sound Overhaul - It's intended to be an all-in-one sound overhaul, it's not just an addon or mod.
As such, you really shouldn't need another sound mod that either fixes or changes vanilla stuff.
I'm putting ALL fixes known to me in there, old ones aswell as stuff that people probably never noticed.
For instance, have you ever heard the Moutain heavy wind gust B waves ?
No you haven't, cause both the A and B entries were using the A ones.
Likewise, when I change the ImpactData and ImpactDataSets and add new ones, I fix the dust impacts and make them proper sparks vs appropriate materials and so on and on and on..
Not because I wan't to make all these other mods redundant but because it's necesssary, due to Blehvespa putting visuals+audio and all sorts of crap into the same boxes.
Once I get v3 finished, I'll do an Enhanced Blood compatability, wich I know alot of people are using.
Mods that add new sounds is not an issue and load order shouldn't be either.
Except if they add to the "dungeons".
SoS - The Wilds is highly recommended.
SoS - The Dungeons is not recommended, with the version I'm working on now.
I'm redoing all the acoustic spaces and trying to create a COMPLETE atmosphere.
The volume of the sounds added by SoS Dungeons are balanced toward the vanilla rumble loops (the warp cores) and will clash with and ruin the atmosphere.
I think I'm running low on comment space but, I'm confident people will love the new environments.
The Cave env. I'm currently on is presently a 41 piece of layered cake. On day 6 of testing and tweaking.
My aim: you shoud be able to stand still and stare at a cobweb for 30 minutes, realtime -
and still have an immersive experience.
