Version 2.8.0.sk
- - Full ENB 0.319 support.
- Almost everything has been changed.
- MariENB SSAO has been removed.
- Not all weathers and locations have been checked thoroughly, so there may be some visual quirks here and there.
- LUT Converter expanded into a "LUT Tool Suite", now with a couple more utilities.
- - Full ENB 0.319 support.
-
Version 2.7.1sk
- - LUT converter updated to 2.1, added support for Film Workshop LUTs. Executable is now optimized and stripped for minimal size.
- Moved Technicolor filter before LUT.
- - LUT converter updated to 2.1, added support for Film Workshop LUTs. Executable is now optimized and stripped for minimal size.
-
Version 2.7.0sk
- - Added Color Matrix.
- Added Hue-Saturation filter from GIMP. Almost an exact C→HLSL translation.
- Removed ASCII Art filter, the implementation is really bad and it's better to just get rid of the whole thing until I can come up with something better.
- Removed Dot Matrix, it was a bad filter.
- Removed RetroFX suite. For a long time, I've been trying to figure out how to fix a strange bug causing incorrect colours with almost all palettes. As it turns out, the problem isn't on my code, but rather on the way fragment shaders work in Direct3D, and how anything just slightly "too complex" for it will result in inexplicable, unexpected behaviour. Simply put, I'm fed up with all the constant debugging for finding a way to make Microsoft's braindead graphics API do what I want it to. Something like RetroFX would be much more consistent and predictable in an image editor than here.
- Full migration to volume map LUTs. All old 2D texture based modes have been removed. There really is no reason to keep them around when the new way™ is much simpler and precise.
- - Added Color Matrix.
-
Version 2.6.0sk
- - Reduced the frost overlay a bit.
- Implemented true 3D LUTs, now that I just discovered ENB can load volume maps. MariENB is now the very first preset to ever use 3D textures.
- Ported old screen dirt filter from ancient MariENB.
- Brought back some recently removed filters now that the technique limit has been raised.
- Added edge detect and linevision.
- Added custom fog w/ limbo mode.
- Set custom SSAO back to 64 samples, the performance hit is abysmal (50% FPS drop), but the quality is vastly improved. Considering it was never meant for normal gameplay, this is fine.
- Added "shift" parameter to SSAO to see if that helps reduce the excess darkening.
- Other tweaks I may have missed.
- - Reduced the frost overlay a bit.
-
Version 2.5.1sk
- - Changes in ENB 0.315 have caused a divergence in the code between the Skyrim and New Vegas versions, hence the new version suffixes.
- Separated DOF and Prepass shaders with 0.315 binaries.
- Moved frost overlay to enbeffect shader, as it needs to be applied after depth of field.
- - Changes in ENB 0.315 have caused a divergence in the code between the Skyrim and New Vegas versions, hence the new version suffixes.
-

- Removed garbage data from ini files.
- - Reduced the saturation and LUT at night time, it was a bit too strong.
-
Version 2.4.1-1

- Initiating true multiple weather handling. Environment, Sky, Particles and Volumetric Fog all separate per weather.
- Corrected mis-classified weathers.
- Backported time of day / interior separated LUTs, remade LUTs.
- Backported tonemap changes.
- Major tweaks to bloom, lighting, color grading, tonemap and more.
- The preset appears to be mutating into some sort of hybrid between the old and the new look. Sometimes it even looks a bit like its parents (Opethfeldt and Seasons of Skyrim).
- - I'm crazy, crazy about the weather.
-
Version 2.3.3-1

- - Readjusted lighting, sky, fog, color grading, tonemap, depth of field, bloom, and many other effects.
-
Version 2.2.9-1
- - More colourful lighting and sky, I think. I actually forgot what I have changed this time.
-
Version 2.2.8-1
- - I've fine-tuned the sky and direct lighting again.
- Point light contrast reduced to fix oversaturation.
- Minor touches here and there that I forgot.
- - I've fine-tuned the sky and direct lighting again.

- Retouched the lighting and sky yet again.
- Some tweaks to tone mapping.
- Sunsets are redder.
- Snow is a bit easier on the eyes.

-
Version 2.2.6-1
- - A LOT has been tweaked since 2.2.5, I don't even know where to start.
- Added chromatic aberration to Depth of Field.
- Initial work on proper Bokeh. You can check it out in the prepass Technique dropdown menu, it may not look good in some situations.
- - A LOT has been tweaked since 2.2.5, I don't even know where to start.
-
Version 2.2.5-1
- - Minor adjustments to time of day and fog.
- Lowered LUT for nighttime.
- - Minor adjustments to time of day and fog.
-
Version 2.2.4-1
- - I forgot what I did for this one.
-
Version 2.2.3-1
- - Made MariENB SSAO an optional component and disabled it by default to reduce compile time.
- Restructured palette reduction using LUTs, compiles and runs faster.
- Refactored some other stuff.
- New "lighten" bloom blend method, looks much better than simple addition.
- Major overhaul to lighting, sky, fog, etc. again. Might have made things a bit too bright, idk.
- - Made MariENB SSAO an optional component and disabled it by default to reduce compile time.
-
Version 2.2.2-1
- - Beginning of major lighting tweaks. Things will be less "dead" from now on.
-

-
Version 2.1.5-1
- - More tweaks to bloom, hopefully it looks even better than before now. Seriously, I think I touch bloom way too much on every update.
- Retouched sky and fog again, there SHOULD be even less clashing with the horizon now.
- BIG changes to grading and lighting.
- Tweaked SSAO/SSIL, speculars, subsurface scattering, and more.
- Fixed a bug when using gather blur dof that made frost and other effects not work (caused by a simple typo).
- Changed lens dirt a bit, added an option to desaturate the lens dirt. It's still disabled by default by personal preference.
- - More tweaks to bloom, hopefully it looks even better than before now. Seriously, I think I touch bloom way too much on every update.
-
Version 2.1.4-1
- - Tweaked fog to make it clash less with the skyline on certain weathers.
-
Version 2.1.3-1
- - Fixed bloom once again. For some reason it's brighter in 1080p than in 720p. I'll have to look into this more when I can.
-
Version 2.1.2-1
- - Fixed Depth of Field when using Face to Face Conversation (strength at night was going nuts).
-
Version 2.1.1-1
- - There have been major grading and tone mapping changes just for the heck of it.
- Changes to Depth of Field, it's now slightly stronger and the effect on low FOV has been increased.
- Switched the "Default FOV" to 75 since it's pretty much "the one" people often have.
- Redid Film Grain, enable it if you want.
- Sharp and Shift are enabled by default, I managed to get them to look mostly nice.
- Bloom has been tweaked again. Still hoping I can please everyone.
- Snow under direct sunlight shouldn't be too bright anymore, I hope.
- Tweaked SSAO a bit. If you still can't handle it looking bad in fog just disable it and toggle the ENB one, as usual.
