I love this mod! Is there any chance we could see this for SE?

A cozy and cute, oustanding but still perfectly lorefriendly dream-home. I wanted to give it to a gypsy-follower, but sadly it is not navmeshed.

anyone else think a sailable houseboat like this would be the best thing ever? i tried to make one myself but i dont actuilly know how to even navigate the ck and at this point i dont think what i wanted to do the way i wanted to do it is even possible, im sure someone more experienced could get it working, but i think it will require things i dont understand or know how to do. there are plenty of mods that add sailable boats and even a couple that add sailable player-home -ships, and the ships are great but a little performance heavy and would be something not every char would want to use ("i cant afford a big ship, but this boat looks good, oh wait, its bolted to the ground. well what good is that?")

what im really hopeing for is that someone who knows what there doing well see this and like the idea enough to take a stab at it. it would be cool to see something like the gypsy eyes caravan as a boat.

Cool idea! Love the boat. My only thing is avoiding getting soaking wet in the rain. Any chance of a link up with the Real Shelter mod so ran does not come through the roof?

      Thanks!
Uhm yeah, that has been an issue with many housing-mods where you don't leave the worldspace and pass into an interior. Unfortunately I don't know what the best and least complicated way would be to make that happen, but I think some other modders have tried to tackle the issue. maybe check out the other mods that are out there?
Sorry I can't really help there!

that fairly recent (sorta) mod figured out how to add the rain cover effect to a small shack^. it works really well. be nice to have that for this boat

I think this is a beautiful simple mod you've done, its one of my favorites and I was wondering if you could do something of the same style but with a camp? I've been hunting and waiting for years for someone to make and do a gypsy camp some justice. I think you could make a beautiful player home like this.

You know... I didn't mention it before... but it's been kinda' gnawing at me... and I"m seeing more and more mods popping up using the term "Gypsy".

I'm not sure if you're aware (and many people aren't) but this term is considered as an ethnic slur that has a long history of being directed at the Romani people. While in places like the US people tend to overlook the history and just use it as a kind of catch term for vagabonds and freespirts... the actual source of the word has a lot darker historical use for disparaging an ethnic minority.

The boat is very cute.. yes... but I just thought I'd put it out there for you to consider... maybe another name for this thing would be less apt to carry that offensive burden about it.

Right... I see that now... and honestly the answers there leave me a little dry... like "Oh really? I didn't mean it that way"... or the typical type of rambling response that talks about word etymology and how it isn't originally coming from a hateful place etc.

STILL... this mod author and other people who choose to use this word in their mods should realize that words we use are more than just their etymology and origins... words are like a rock rolling through history and can become soiled and heavy especially when they roll through the mire of a people's oppression. I'd urge you to search online looking for impressions and feelings of those who actually come from a Romani background before you are quick to excuse yourselves as "not using it in a bad way so it's okay".

For someone who has a weight of history bending down on them... especially in European countries where the Romani had laws passed against them... unfair charges leveled against them... excommunication.. and were rounded up to be killed in many cases... all while the slur of "Gypsy" was being shouted at their ancestors... think how that might feel? And think how it feels to see so much of that historical pain just shrugged off by people who aren't Romani as if it doesn't even matter (or doesn't even EXIST). Think how it might feel to have people constantly using a term that was used as a hateful racial slur against your people constantly popping up in the pop-culture as if none of the dark history behind the word matters?

That is just what I'm asking to this mod author here... just please consider the all too easily shrugged off and forgotten history behind words and how that history might still sting harshly to a people you are not a part of. It might not seem like a "big deal" or be very personal to you... but that's the thing about all these subtle racist memes we perpetuate in our culture, knowingly or not, it's wayyy too easy for it to go unchecked when the majority have no vested interest in stopping the hateful language. I'm asking you all to just step out of your own privileged perspective for a minute and consider the feelings of those who may be troubled by seeing a word that THEY see as a racial slur against THEIR people plastered around with abandon.

Again, this is a cute mod... but I really think it would be cuter if it had a name that didn't unintentionally drag a dark, painful, and bloody history behind it!

I think you should be less sensitive instead of asking an artist to cater his artistic vision to the sensitivity of you and others.

Every single human being on this planet has ties to injustice throughtout history, most of us get over it.

Do you use tumblr? You seem like the type.

This is perfect. Cute little boat with a lot of detail was the only thing missing in my game.

Totally tempted to download and use this although the character I'm currently playing as is a vegetarian. Would it be possible to make an "animal carcass free" version of this? It does look really cute, that boat!

This is the best looking mini-house mod on the Nexus imo. I was so sad when it was only on the Steam Workshop before (I don't like to mix n match for stability's sake), but now that it's on the Nexus it's going straight in my game

That is, when I get back from vacation in 3 weeks thanks for the awesome work, can't wait to use it! (Btw, making it mobile as discussed below is an *astounding* idea. That'd make it the best house mod period to me! )
