Quite a quick and easy job to do I thought, but after investing the free time of a whole week I reconsidered that
Let me know if strange things are going on. The snow for example often looks as cool as ice but sometimes even ugly as hell... it might have to many snow banks as well. Not all parallax maps are corrected to perfection, slight movements may occur...
My number 1 favorite landscape retexture ever, any chance of an SSE Port? Tried it myself with CAO but got shiny/glossy look to the landscape textures. I'm assuming no since it took you a whole week to make this and maybe you don't want to do that again but i wanted to ask anyway. Sorry if this annoys you.
unfortunately Terrain Parallax won't work on SE, the effect is applied differently here than on meshes... though I'm porting my other parallax mods already;)
Just checking but did you fix the issue in SE with this mod? I finally got Skyrim VR and this is one of the first mods I want to add since I always considered it an essential for Oldrim.?
With the "Mesh Fix" package, are we supposed to let it overwrite SMIM's corresponding meshes, or exclude those files from this mod if we are using SMIM?
The roads are still flat. I use Rudy ENB and set it up FixGameBugs = true FixParallaxBugs = true FixParallaxTerrain = true In which order to install files?
I have been using this mod since it was created and I have experienced many of the same problems you have. If you plan to use the whole mod, then you need to give this mod priority...or these are the last landscape textures and meshes you install. If there is something that you do not like or want to replace, then you need to not install the textures or meshes from this mod for that area.
I take the mod archives completely apart, then I combine in this order:
1. Skyrim Landscapes - originals by Nebula 2. Skyrim HD - Terrain Parallax Tribute 2K 3. Skyrim HD - Terrain Parallax Tribute - Update for 2K 4. Skyrim HD - Terrain Parallax Tribute - Roads 2K 5. Skyrim HD Parallax Tribute - Smim Bridge Dirt 2K (if you use SMIM bridges) 6. Then I delete all meshes except for the roads folder. 7. The esp is specifically for roads, so I keep that also. 8. Then I delete any textures I plan to replace. 9. In my case - fall forest, and anything snow, glacier, or ice related (including fall forest and snow road textures if replacing).
Then I combine into one archive and install. By doing it this way you will maximize compatibility and minimize texture seams or mesh conflict issues. You will also need to make sure you enable:
I have a Problem with Vivid Landscapes / Skyrim HD Terrain Parallax. I have near Riften and near rivers some seams / lines between the landcape textures. Some Ideas how to correct them ? And yes i have already "Skyrim HD - Terrain Parallax Tribute - Mesh Fix" installed.

FixParallaxBugs=true

...in your enblocal.ini
That will be all.
Good luck!
