I apologize for the broken English, I really liked this mod, but I wonder if marriage is possible (by game means using the mod) without writing down console commands and is there a separate point for this? Thanks for your hard work!
For anyone curious this mod works in sse after saving esps in ck, deleting the door mesh, and making sure that there are no conflicts: https://i.imgur.com/MNOq6jy.png https://i.imgur.com/rVPoJjk.png
Edit: Oh yeah and for those with Palaces and Castles Enhanced SSE make sure to go in sseedit and carry over the two cell records that are in the blue palace cell so those objects will be disabled. Also you trigger elisif's personal quest by interacting with the door to the jarl's chamber's behind her throne where it says that it requires a key, then you should hear her respond, walk to the door and unlock it. It's a bit awkward since she's technically in the throne room instead and unlocking it from the side we're on, but it is what it is lol.
If you ever get this, could you send a copy of your SSE file to me? I have no idea how to get it to work and I really want it moved over for my current playthrough. Thanks!
Edit: Okay, I actually did manage to get it working. However, I have to console command my way through the quest, which isn't the worst, but then she doesn't have any voiced dialogue with certain lines. Any idea how to fix that?
Edit 2: I got her dialogue to work fine, still had to use console command to get through the quest. However, it's not really working with PAN's replacer for her in SE. I don't understand why, since Pandorable mods only edit the NPC appearance. Gonna try to reorganize it a bit.
For anyone looking for more detailed instructions on converting this:
You need to extract the BSA, delete it, then delete the mesh file that comes with it from the extraction, then either repack the loose files into another BSA or reinstall them loose, otherwise the game will not start up with this mod enabled.
Also you can get rid of the Jarlswillfollow.esp by just simply copying as overwrite, with overwriting, using xEdit into ElisifCompanion.esp then delete the Jarl esp as it's no longer needed
I'll try to reinstall it. I got the mod to work fine, but if she was overridden by PAN AIO she wouldn't have the option to follow. So, in short, the actual Elisif Companion esp worked, but not the Jarls Can Follow one. I tested this with Baalgruuf, too. He didn't have dialogue. By patching them, do you mean I would have to drag over PAN's visuals to overwrite Elisif Companion's visuals?
She also wouldn't work with iAFT. I can't imagine why not. I've been modding for years and I can't figure this out. There's different results all the time when I try again over and over.
To patch them you need to load the companion mod first, then the replacer.
Open both in xEdit. Then check NPC in the replacer mod, then start to copy over the edits from the companion mod into it, you're gonna have to set the companion mod as a master of the appearance replacer.
I'm not using PAN's Elisif, but a different replacer. But, just as an example, you'd want to copy over the scripts from the companion esp, as well as removing the crime faction, changing aggression etc
You basically want to just line up the changes as much as possible.
Also, you can get rid of the Jarl ESP by simply opening it in xEdit with the companion mod, then selecting its one change, and doing Deep Copy as Overwrite, with Overwriting into the companion ESP. Then delete the Jarl esp, as it's no longer needed.
The mod functions fine for me after doing all that. I did her quest, her voice works, and I don't have to use 2 esp slots for this 1 companion. She also integrated into NFF without any additional effort on my end. Although, in my next playthrough I'm planning on switching from NFF to EFF so idk how well she will work with any other companion management systems, I just know she works with NFF out of the box.
I DM'd the mod author for permission to release my conversion of this for SE, hopefully they get back to me. Because if so, and you're still unable to figure it out, I could patch it for you. But I'm not gonna do that without express permission from the mod author first, so fingers crossed.
Thanks for the help, I still can't figure it out, though. I moved the scripts from the Companion esp over to the converter esp as well as everything except the actual visual appearance, but she just never shows up with the dialogue to follow me. I get the combat tips, but it's like the follower esp just isn't there. I've tried reorganizing my load order, but the option for her to follow doesn't come up. I've run out of ideas at this point.
Did you do her quest, or use console commands to bypass it?
I didn't notice the combat tips dialogue showing up until after I actually hired her.
Also, did you make sure to move the changes from the Jarl esp into the companion esp? That's what enables the follower dialogue to actually show up, I'm pretty sure.
Where would I find the changes from the Jarl esp? That might be where I messed up.
Edit: Okay, I reinstalled PAN AIO as well as this mod. I opened up xEdit and I believe I did a hard copy from Jarls to the Companion mod. Then I dragged everything from Companion to PAN AIO, except for the visual override. Now, I'm going to open this mod in Creation Kit to make them Form 44.
Edit 2: Sigh, back to square one. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with this. Maybe it's something on PAN's side? I'm out of ideas. Thanks for your help through everything, just have no idea why it won't work.
I made them Form 44 first then did all that. Not sure if it makes any difference.
If the mod author gives permission for me to release this as an SSE port, and you still can't figure it out, I could try making a patch for Pan's replacer and this companion. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
The only other thing I can suggest is to put the companion esp + the replacer at the very bottom of your load order and see if that works. If it does, then that likely means there is a mod conflict somewhere along the line causing the dialogue not to show up correctly.
That would be awesome if you could. Like I said, I don't know how I got it working before, but it isn't working now. I know it wasn't working with the replacer. I tried doing the steps before converting it to Form 44 earlier. It very well could be something to do with Pan's replacer. I've been trying to work with the All In One version, which means that the single esp that converts Elisif and others is disabled, so it's just the PAN main replacers version. But I think it's just the Jarl esp that's acting up instead of the Elisif esp. Not sure why your steps didn't work. Like I said, appreciate the help greatly. I'm just out of ideas and I'm tired of trying to deal with it instead of playing the game for now lmao. I got it working before as a follower without voiced lines for combat tips, then I got it working again without the replacer, now I get the combat tips without the option to follow.
I quite like this mod, but I also like Become High King of Skyrim V2. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I plan to attempt to make a compatibility patch for the two for my own personal use. I don't plan to upload it, but if I manage to get it working I can send it to you if you'd like. I'm posting this on both mods.
The guard told me that Elisif was not to be disturbed, but I insisted and got to talk to her. Said that we are going to the throat of the world and she was so excited. Teleported there and the object marker could not be reached (somewhere higher up than High Hrothgar). Tried fast traveling to Ivarstead and walking with her up the 70000 steps. Still unable to reach the marker objective. I expected a conversation to start upon arriving at High Hrothgar, but none did. Gave up and used the console to setstage aaelisifrecruitmentquest 30. Was messaged to meet her in the palace courtyard. Did so and she agreed to follow me. In my load order, I had her below EFF and so did not get the "wheel". I quit out and placed her just above the EFF .esp and repeated what I did with the console. All's well that ends well. Lots of new dialogue and I love her to bits. Many thanks.
I got this mod to work except she won't follow me it says She prefers to travel with just me no other followers. However, I have no other followers with me. Any Suggestions?
As the quest is triggered by a Solitude guard, I presume it will only proceed properly if I side with the Imperial Legion or have not completed the Civil War?

2. What is the outfit Elisif wears in the second picture?
