If this race is going to be so OP, maybe instead of calling it Old People Race, you should call the race "Istari", after the Wizards from Lord of the Ring (Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast, and the others). The Istari were Maiar who were incarnated to look like old men, but were powerful beings that were sent to Arda to defeat the Dark Lord and his minions. Just a random creative thought on some Tokien lore for this interesting race!
