I've been mostly concentrating on the SSE version of the mod so there hasn't been much happening with this version, but an adept user SwatchSilver kindly contributed a fix to the incorrect landscape texture showing up for a number of campfires, as well as a compatibility patch for Realistic Water 2 fixing the water glitched trough. Big kudos to him for his efforts!
In that cell are 2 FireplaceWood01Burning [MSTT:00035F4A] sort of back to back [ edit: they are overlapping ] (to fill the space) in the fireplace of the ruined house.
Did a test - with embers installed - I loaded up skyrim.esm only again but without that one mesh. No crash. With mesh it crashes loading that POI cell. Then I went to WindhelmPalaceUpstairs02 (where Ulfric's room is) There are five instances of that mesh there.(not so in ..01 with same fireplaces) it did crash when I touched the mesh to look at it in upstairs02 - bad mesh - I guess CK doesn't like it.
Hi, im using SMIM and Ultimate Hd fire effects, it ask to me overwrite the few meshes from those mods i told it no and kept there meshes. I presume you already have those mods did i installed correctly?
Love this mod. The embers are absolutely beautiful.
Unfortunately I'm having an issue with some other mods overwriting it with the vanilla meshes/textures I'm still investigating which mods are doing it but I'm suspecting that its more than one as I fixed the issue by disabling Rudy HQ - More Lights for ENB. But after adding some more mods the vanilla embers are back.
I'm using the latest ENBSeries with Rudy ENB.
I'll post back when I find the other mod(s) conflicting with it.
[EDIT] Hmm... Reinstalling appears to have fixed the issue, for now at least.
If it happens again place it at the bottom of your left pane on Mod Organizer and it will overwrite any textures and meshes from that point forward. And if not using Mod Organizer I highly recommend as it makes problems like this a complete non-issue.
Anyone have any idea what's causing my rocks to look like this? I can edit the mesh in NifSkope if needed but I can't find the right shader option to adjust. Image is with Rudy ENB active, without it they look kind of wet/shiny like cave entrances in vanilla.

UPDATE: I found a fix, I ran the campfire meshes through SSE Nif Optimizer with the "smooth normals" option checked and the output set as LE.
