There is something weird... Even without running the bat file, only the exe, the new file is deleted, so the xcopy command does not even have the time to do its job (and the rm command that follows is useless).
PS: Earlier in those posts, there is an explanation on how the program works. For those who wonder: the file is deleted because it changed nothing and did not need to be corrected. So, if your "out" folder is empty, it's because nothing needed to be put in it in the first place.
I had the same problem when running the .bat file as administrator, after running it without the admin privilege it worked fine and managed to solve an issue that was pestering me for weeks :-)
I rarely bother to endorse but NIF healer is like more important than even Mod Organizer 2 in making the best load orders possible. Many amazing mods crash your game because of a broken nif file. And this thing is relatively easy to use and does all the actual fixing for you. Sometimes you may have to rename a fixed file to properly replace the broken ones, sometimes you dont. I dont know why. Sometimes it renames the new nif something really different to the original nif file, sometimes it renames it to just <original nif file name>new. Sometimes when you input a whole file structure like MOD organizer's mod install folders, it will pump out all the new nifs into copies of the file structure you put it in, but for some reason you can end up with the odd file not in the file structure and just in the main output file. In anycase if you can manage to rename a few files and put them back where they need to be, then you can use this tool no problem. If thats a problem for you tho, just stick to very well known mods i guess. In my load order of 500+ mods It has fixed dozens of mods that crashed the game and otherwise would have just been thrown out. Some are really not obscure mods either and its surprising what evil corrupted NIFs you can find in very popular mods. I guess most people don't experience the crash cuz they never walk over that one spot or they dont relate the crash to the mod. Or they do and then just uninstall, and this is judging by the amount of downloads this thing has.
1. Put mesh to folder where Nifhealer.exe located. 2. Drag & drop mesh on Nifhealer.exe. or 1. Open Run.bat in any text editor 2. Change records *.nif to your mesh name. (e.g. Clothes.nif)

How does one determine which files should be checked to begin with?
"File not found - *_new.nif
0 File(s) copied

Press any key to continue . . ."
Any idea?
