Version 2.1 mostly tweaks interior lighting so it's not so desaturated. REMOVE OLD NOIR ESP IF UPDATING. Now uses ENB weather rather than plugin.

Still NOT compatible with anything that changes vanilla lighting (say NO to CoT/most weather mods), though True Storms is compatible (and recommended! ). Nights may be a bit brighter in general to make it more stealth-character friendly (as was the original intention).

There is still a bit of tweaking to be done, but so many people had asked for more performance that I wanted to get this out now. I'll try to get some fresh screenshots uploaded but you can see a few shots on my tumblr here in the meantime.

Phew. Be gentle, guys, there's definitely some tweaking still to be done but I got a few messages expressing interest.

That said, I really welcome feedback/critique. I'm absolutely not an expert at this so I know there's room for improvement.

    I'm having trouble with installation.

(Installation tutorial begins around 1:40) or you can use THE FRENCH VERSION

    I don't like X/I need more performance.
Please see the tweaking guide under articles. If your question wasn't answered, do post!

I found an area where fog looks weird/ugly/changes elevation too quickly.
Please give me a screenie with the location! I know of a couple that probably need some more love (hello, Windhelm) but I definitely want to fix these.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE KIND WORDS AND THE SCREENSHOTS! <3 <3

Sorry, I no longer have Oldrim installed so I can't help troubleshoot. Perhaps an older ENB binary would have the intended effect.

If you're using Mod Organizer, make sure you set your inis up through that. Otherwise, no idea.

Well belatedly thank you so much. Sincerely. Unfortunately the code changed between versions and I'm no coder, just a tweaker. Maybe someday. :)

Hello ^^ great mod, but the game did not start, if i use d3d9.dll file. Without the file the game starts like usual. Did I need to copy some other files?

How can it be great if the game did not start?

I am a total noob regarding enbs but I'd like to know if the same look can be achieved in SSE? If so do you have any plans on releasing an SSE version, or instructions on tweaking the SSE enb? Thanks

Not possible because ENB for SSE doesn't have nearly the functions of that for Classic Skyrim, I'm afraid.

Sorry another noob here(so this may be a dumb question) could it be possible in the future given an update or is it incompatible with SSE altogether?

To all the people who want to use this Enb but have strong flickering when starting up their game:

Got into the Enb Local and set "Fix Lag" from true to false. That will make the problem go away (atleast it did for me )
Then you can enjoy this great Enb to the fullest ,..

A note to the author: Perhaps a good idea to make this post a sticky, so it's easy to find
and , ofcourse, fantastic job on this Enb , a steady one in my collection

Noob question incoming, two of them in fact.

    1. Can I use this without Enhanced Lights and FXs but instead RLO (Realistic Lightning Overhaul)?

    2. Is this performance friendly?

ther is waaaaay too much red in this enb. it isn't just blood that stands out. its almost unplayably disgusting. I really like the low saturation, but if you're gonna blind me with all that red, warn us first, lol

I want to use this so badly, bud I keep getting extreme flickering across my screen when using this Particular ENB, with no idea whats causing it. Has anyone found a fix yet?

I had the same problem, but I followed @DailyEd's advice (category bugs) and it fixed the flickering for me:
All you have to do is go to your enblocal, then disable FixLag by setting it to false: FixLag=false
You can find the line all the way down, in the Fix category.

Hope it works for you !
