Version 2.0.2 released with fixes to the bow animations for the Scoped Bows mod.
Sorry for the long delay between updates. I was taking a break because I got burned out earlier (I finished writing a thesis in December). I was also waiting to see if I could contact 3AMt but I wasn't able to. Expect to see the release of a Skyrim SE version sometime soon.
Edit: 2.0.2a added a fix for the hug of death bug thanks to fore.
The NoSKSE version was updated to fix an issue with certain armor that had alternative textures not displaying the correct texture. I've also changed the esp file names. The Skyrim SE version is now available on a separate mod page: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9358/?
OK, so, if you're having trouble removing the mod. 1: Follow the steps on the main page:
I removed via Vortex, including deleting the archive, checked my SKSE folder to make sure nothing there was left, and manually moved the _1st person folder to my desktop (in lieu of deleting it.)
Reinstall XP32 Skeleton, making sure JoP is set to None, obviously.
Re-run FNIS.
(At this point, I still had floating hands, and a bow that did not move vertically with my camera, so...)
Next, enter your save of choice (this was on a save that had had JoP installed on) Bring up the console and type: showracemenu
(If you're using Race Menu, before this next step, save your character as a preset to get everything back easily after the next step -- ALSO: enter the skills menu and note down what level each of your skills are at -- the next step may change your skill values, so you'll want to be able to setav them back to where they were, afterward.)
Go to the Race slider and select any other race.
Set your character back to her/his original race.
Reload your preset to get everything looking back to normal, as changing race will wipe your makeup, tattoos, blush, etc.
Finish and name your character.
Finally, changing your race may have messed-up all your skill levels, so use the setav commands here: https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)/Skills to reset them back to where they were before.
i cant find the joy pf perspective files in my skse nor do i know where the esp files would be located. any help? also whenever i reinstall the xp32 skeleton and patch with fnis the _1stperson folder gets reinstalled. is that okay?
Good news for everyone who's game was broken by this mod, try 1. uninstalling the mod by following the directions in the details tab 2. use the showracemenu command by pressing ~ 3. swap race to a separate race, then back to previous race WITHOUT CLOSING THE RACE MENU (this will preserve your stats) now the camera should be back to normal
What causes the feet of certain Race mods to stick to the ground in 1st? For female, the tits are pointed [UNP]. I also found that certain items of clothes will stretch to infinity.
Dear author, you made a unique and irreplaceable mod! He's beautiful, my character even has first-person chest physics (which I myself did not expect)! But we need your help! Alas, your mod has some bugs! But he almost completely copes with his task! Don't abandon your creation! Hope you're alive and well and just gave up moding! But if you could help us, it would be great! I hope you read this! If the author has completely abandoned moding and support for this mod, I suggest that other moders take it upon themselves to bring the mod to mind (keeping all links to the original author and to the original mod, of course). I have not seen other mods to replace TJoP! In the meantime, such craftsmen did not find I have a question for everyone who can help! ... Has anyone been able to figure out how to solve the following problems: - knocked down sight when shooting and using magic? - missing animation of the legs from the first person when the block is clamped or the bow string is pulled? - is it possible to achieve a shadow from your character when playing in the first person? I would be very grateful for your help! Sorry for the mistakes and hope you can understand what I was trying to write! I live in Belarus and do not know English well!
Bad advice. hkx (animation) files aren't cross-compatible. The mod you link to is the same as this, but with hkx files converted for SSE. It wouldn't work in LE.
This mod broke my game. Character's body disappeared, with only arms left. Arms are clipping through camera. Aiming is impossible since arms don't follow the camera.
I was having some trouble getting the first person view to match up with third person when using HDT body physics and after a few goddamn hours of puzzling trial and error I discovered something odd.
If your body physics are working properly in third person but not in first person, I find that picking "No to all" when prompted to overwrite XPMSE skeleton with this mod's version will fix the issue.
Don't know if anyone else is having/has had this issue, but I figured I would post this just in case.
If you use this mod with Archery Gameplay Overhaul you must set Joy of Perspective After Archery Gameplay Overhaul ( I use Vortex ) This is important Otherwise in first person when you draw a bow you aiming off to the left

You should be back to vanilla, now.
