Let me know if something isn't working correctly. The Nexus is acting funky for me today and wanted to keep timing out. Thanks!
Also, I've tested this mod several times over and all the files should finally be in the correct place this time around. If you are still experiencing invisible decorations, let me know. It's easy to miss some stuff. >_<
Some people see static items as a good thing: "No havok and no mess." I see static items as a bad thing. Not having the option to steal (or to make a mess!) makes it less immersive.
I had this problem as well, but it was an easy fix.
1) Download Blary's Open Book Resource (his mods are linked to on the Description page of THIS mod) and extract it. 2) Go to your Skyrim data folder and look for textures \ AARS \ openbook 3) Drop the largebookpaper05.dds file from #1 into the openbook folder. That should take care of the missing texture.
Mod Organizer users can do the same thing inside their MO Mod folder for A True Arcadias Cauldron instead of messing about inside the Skyrim data folder. Either way, it should work fine.
(Personally, I corrected the missing texture and saved the archive with all the data intact in case I need to reinstall it in the future).
Well, I am on a laptop and I don't have any problems, personally. Though due to the fact that there is a lot more clutter, lag is possible on low end computers.
Assuming that it is like the other version, but with the correction added, the performance impact, was little to none. Since I can run the game on ultra settings, and with HD texture pack, I already have a lot going, and a lot of mods as well. When I entered the shop, after the first second or two of it loading, it was smooth moving around. Although there are a lot of things added, some of the things that appear harvestable, are not, thus making it a bit better in performance.
In short, there was very very little to no impact. If you want to, DL it, play the game with it, see how it is, and go from there.
so glad you reuploaded this. I found it when my pc was out of commission and was planning on downloading as soon as my hardware upgrades would play nice and the pc would boot. I was rather sad to not find it when I first visited the nexus after going 2 weeks without a pc

In the folder "openbook" there is no file largebookpaper05.dds...
