The Types of Armour described in the respective Perk Tomes are the ONLY ones that receive a skill-related boost. ex. Cyrodiilic Rouge benefits only leather and Hide, Dunmer Benefits Glass etc.
Perks in the Two-Handed Tree have added special effects, that trigger when you reach the next rank.
Lock Descriptions match the respective Lock Type in the Book, so for example a Novice Lock which has been renamed Lever Tumbler, will present itslef as Lever Tumbler in the Respective HUD message.
