Reserved for those bolded red warning posts just in case. Please tell me I didn't mess up something again.

Please be as specific as you can if you're reporting an issue, that way I (or everyone else) will have a better chance of helping you solve the problem.

Additionally, there have been recent reports of
    1) invisible/disappearing children (4-5 reports)
    2) CTDs in race menu when trying to select a child race (2 reports) for those using the Playable.esp.

At this time I don't have a solution. I'll update this post and the mod description if there happens to be any.

    Guides
Create your own faces & patches for other mods
    Change a child's current hairstyle

July 3, 2017: Added a patch for Beyond Skyrim - Bruma.
June 23, 2017: If you're experiencing neckseams/unclothed children issues, please check the Downloads page and download the update (RSChildren Update - 170623).

In the meantime, here's my to-do list. If you'd like to see something patched, please post a comment over on that post instead!

I'll be replying to comments that are around 1 month old at most, as I believe older ones may no longer need their questions answered! If you are still having issues with the new version, please let me know.

The updated version is still compatible with the other face patches for children from mods like Falskaar. PNP should still be compatible as well, though you may not see Aeta in her Skaal coat.

So, the RSChildren does not work with Killable Children. Ok, got it. Removed KC.
Now, RS also said the "killing" could be done on its own as long as you installed and used FOMOD to activate "Playable" characters during the installation menu. Well, that did not work either. I tested it out, and children are still immortal.

I say this because I have a mod called "Banditkin" which adds children bandits to the world, and that may cause conflicts.
Is there a workaround for this? Maybe load order?

I'd appreciate any help here. Thanks.

For people that has the bald potato and hair clipping bug and use Vortex
    1.Go to plugins.
2.Double click the .esp (RSChildren.esp, RSChildren Patch - USLEEP.esp etc)
3.Scroll down to group and click it
    4.Select Late Patches
5.Then up to the left select Sort Now
Now the .esp should be in the end order and fix the problem.

Thanks for keeping the old version. I never imagined finding a replacement mod for children that didn't require DLCs.

I was very happy with that.

I have a problem. Lucia in Whitherun is bold(Has no hair). I've installed original mod and two patches. And some kids have strange rainbow half-transparent cubes around their torso.

      No.
There is a 64 bit version on the 64 bit SSE/AE pages, there you will also find some 60,000 other mods for your version of the game,

Is there any version of Children Overhaul that supports the Elven and Best children mod? Because I've been struggling to find one that actually works with that specific mod..

Skykids and RCOTS support those races, also TKAA (The Kids are Alright, but you will need to manually set your race i.e. setrace TKAAChildnord note you can check the TESEDIT for the race ID in TKAA mod)

Skykids is a straighforward mod install and play with straightforward replacers to all NPC (all in one installer, similar to RS children overhaul). It addes 3 extra races (Monli Race, Dwemer, and COT R)

RCOTS (Realistic Child Overhaul Texture and Shape) have many options and adds an XPMSE skeleton to children, so HDT and SMP function in clothes can work, but require understanding of all the files in-order to make it compatible with your own moded skyrim, but you need to download many esp and mods to make it functional (no all in one installer to my knowledge). It also add an Extra Demon Kid race.

Fix: Shiny potato head with hair clipping

I found another cause and fix for the shiny potato children heads with clipping hair, however I am not experienced with mods so I have no idea why it works; I also do not know where I should post this but I could not find anything similar to what I needed to do so I am just putting it here lol. The cause was an esp. file from RS Children that was loading too high in my load order however mod managers did not want to move it lower, I fixed this by adding a plug-in rule to force the manager to keep it at the bottom however this broke something within the popular SkyUI mod and UIExtensions. Placing the RS children esp. at the bottom of the load order was forcing the two SkyUI files to be the last two mods loaded. A plug-in rule did not fix it, instead both SkyUI files were auto disabled and would crash my game if enabled. I installed SkyUI-away in an attempt to keep the MCM and after reinstalling SkyUI and UIExtensions all mods appear to be working fine. Have not tested an entire playthrough yet, but so far everything seems fine.

    Shortened:

Use a plug-in rule to force the RS Children esp. file to the bottom of the load order, if issues with SkyUI and UIExtensions, install SkyUI-away (you should still be able to use all of SkyUI, the away mod only makes it possible to pick and choose what to remove).

Hey, how are you? I'd like to thank you for taking the potato-headed kids out of the game and replacing them with these a thousand times prettier ones, but I'd like to know why my son gets naked if I give him a gray boy's outfit... Any ideas what could happen? be or how can I solve?
Sorry not a english speaker hehe :P

I'll likely wager that you're trying to use this 'LE' version of the mod on a 'SSE or AE' installation instead of going to the SSE pages.
