Sorry for the long hiatus! I'm back and I've listened to your requests!

Version 0.3 aka Version 2ManyHidespots is now ready for download!

I've more or less covered all the requests from users for new hiding spots in this release and also added some other ones I thought would make sense. In addition, you can now pickpocket from your hiding spot as well as use it to escape from combat as long as enemies are not nearby.

For those updating from Version 0.2, just install as normal and you should get a notification letting you know that the mod has been updated.

With that said, I think I'm done with this mod. I've completed everything I wanted to do and added all user requested hidespots. I would like to work on something new, so keep your eyes peeled for a new mod coming soon. Besides that, if anyone wants to tweak, modify, whatever, this mod feel free to do so as long as you credit me.

    Peace!

I've been trying to use the SE port of this, but it doesn't work half the time for some reason.
Figured I'd ask here and see if anyone has any ideas.

I had tried the BSA version on an old save, and it would let me "hide" inside barrels/etc, but would take me out of sneak mode so anything around could see me.
Went ahead and switched to the loose files version, and it let me hide in sneak mode, but no assassination option would come up.

Started a new file, and now we're back to it not letting me be in sneak mode inside anything.

In both cases where it would take me out of sneak mode inside containers, whenever I would come out of the container, I'd be crouched down like I was in sneak mode, and would have to toggle sneak mode manually to get out of the crouched position.

It says that the mod is not compatible with Special Edition only the 2011 version

    What are loose files?
What is the difference between the two main files?
What exactly does the optional file fix?

BSA version is version where loose files are compressed into a one bsa file. I don't really know what are the specific differences, many said that there is non, just preference. But I like to use BSA version, it is easier to install and uninstall manually in case of any problems. But in Loose Files version you have an access to all files that the mood contents, so you can modified it on your own when it is needed.

PS: In that mod the update is in "loose files" version, so I used that version of a main mod. I don't know if this is like important choice, but I did it. xD

for those who waiting for SE port, i just ran loose file thru Cathedral Assets Optimizer (can also unpack/repack BSA if you prefer with it), and resaved the esp in CK. easy peasy, works great.
Unfortunately not compatible with loot animations from Animations mod :(

Judging by the loose files listing the contents, you don't really need Cathedral Asset Optimizer as the mod only contains script files, which SSE can read just fine.

In fact you could download and use this mod as it is and play just fine, in some cases it is better than trying to convert the mod since loading and saving in the creation kit can break the hierarchy of some mods relying on scripts.

In other words, you don't need a port, just download and install. If you are using MO2 you'll get a warning but other than that nothing else happens (see Neissa mod for instance)

yeah i do it all the time with mods that have not been ported to Skyrim SE like with "Sheogorath - Call of Madness", so i'm talking from experience here. On the contrary any mod that relies on SKSE won't be able to work even if you use CAO, and sometimes CAO breaks the meshes rather than convert them properly so you may wanna use SSE NIF Optimizer instead.

I'm wondering the same.  Could you please port this to SSE?  Or is it simply compatible with SSE and doesn't really need a port per se to work properly?
