    Sticky

-Fully compatible with ENB's terrain parallax

-You can also use the color options from my original Rocking Stones, the textures are compatible. This works with every texture reminding somewhat to the Vanilla one. Just overwrite my diffuse with the one you want.

-The compatibility patches from Vivid Landscapes - Cliffs & Creeks & from Tundra Moss Revised work with all my mods.

    -pictures are always welcome

^lods are not needed, the textures are made so the fade out into vanilla grey in far distance

I installed this, and the NO ENB Patch. I'm get moving/shimmering rock textures if I'm up close and move the mouse around to a lot but not all of the textures, this mod provides. I use only ENBoost for the video memory management fix from Boris, but DO NOT use an ENB preset. By default my enblocal.ini had FixParallaxBugs=true, but FixParallaxTerrain=false in my setup. Do I need to set FixParrallaxTerrain=true as well? If I'm using ENBoost and not ENB is that the same as using ENB where this mod is concerned and do not need the NO ENB Patch?

I should add that I use your Volcanic/ImperialForts/NordicRuins Vivid Landscapes with NO ENB Patch as well and do not get this problem with those mods. I really like the rock and mountain textures of this mod and would love to use them without the shimmering if I could.

Edit: I should correct that it's the meshes that must be causing the shimmering, since there are only two mountain slab textures m..slab01 plus corresponding _n.dds & _p.dds and m..slab02 plus normal and parallax .dds. I also tested more thoroughly and I get the moving textures in the Volcanic area too. I tried the w ENB meshes/textures with ParallaxTerrain=true, I tried NoENB with ParallaxTerrain=true and again ParallaxTerrain=false (Fix ParallaxBugs=true for all testing) and the same thing, moving/shimmering mountainslabs and on some of the volcanic meshes/textures. There was only one spot in HighGateRuins where a column in a main chamber early in dungeon had some candles recessed into the column that went totally funky (the moving shimmering occurs around the recesses and was acually pretty bad didn't have to be right up on it to get it to shimmer by moving the camera/mouse around). So it happens with both ENB and NoENB whether ParallaxTerrain is true or false. The Volcanic is rather subtle and needing to be right up on it, but the mountainslab when it moves is hard to ignore, much more dramatic. What would cause the moving textures? Your textures are awesome with very fine details that are highly desireable, but this parallax shimmer, or whatever is causing it, is frustrating. I've read in other posts on your mod pages this is not an isolated thing. I've tried all configurations of FixParallaxBugs and FixParallaxTerrain with ENB files NoENB files. Are you aware of a work around or fix?

Should I let this mod overrite Realistic Water Two or the other way around?

Hey, good looking mod you've done here.
Say I use Vivid Landscapes - All in one, do I still need this? If I read correctly, the all in one package does not include this.

Vivid Landscapes - All In One does not include this expansion, therefore you will still need this.

i know this question is asked twice, but i want to be sure. so hein84 posted "However, as far as I remember just some rocks are overlapping and I saw no loss in visu" related to the question if ELFX should be allowed to override his meshes. but if i override the rocking stones and mountains with the ELFX mesh will i still have the parallax effect on the mointains? sorry for my bad english. thanks in advance.

Thank you Hein84 for the quick answer. since ELFX is ask to override most of my other mods (including the particle and the subsurface scattering patch for ENB i decided to give Realistic Lighting Overhaul a chance. i really like ELFX and the vibrant and athmospheric colors of lights.. but i dont wont to mess up anything in this new skyrim setup. also i think the loading times a lot faster without elfx.. or is it just my imagination, and the improvement only in my mind. so i guess this is one mod less who can cause trouble

thank you and have a nice week.

ps: also thank you for your really awesome mods. i use the most of your mods since i started modding. i really enjoy it. thanks again =)

Just FYI guys: somehow this mod atm causes SE to crash.
P.S. Mr Hein, sir, any chance you'll port your works?

There seems to be a problem with one, some, or all of the meshes. I striped them out and just uses the textures. no crashing or glitches from testing so far.

      Use the new SMIM SE

Is this mod compatible with all the features of SMIM? Because I believe SMIM affects rock/mountain meshes. If it is compatible would the load order be the following?

    SMIM all in one
Vivid Landscapes - Rocking Stones and Mountains Two
Rocking Stones and Mountains non ENB patch

    Thanks!
