Can anyone confirm if this works if manually installed to SSE?

Works on my machine. I did, however, run the meshes through nif optimizer.

I do enjoy this greatly, but there's something awkward about the fletching. It can be seen in-game as well as in the screenshots, it's as if the feathers were duplicated and overlapping at some points.

Vanilla arrow doesn't have this issue.

apologies---> as I'm sure it's been asked----> do you have any plans for the ugly lobster claw known as the Daedric arrow?

Ellis could you please remove the "arrow.nif"?
It's not needed as your just changing the actual arrow and not the quiver.

Arrow.nif contains quiver AND the arrow BEFORE you launch it (that's the one you see when you draw the bow).
In the moment you launch the arrow the game changes to projectile, aka arrowflight.nif

I got it working---my wacom pen and mouse were fighting for control so initially, I couldn't select anything, but now I got it.

This is an absolute MUST HAVE if you use BetterShaped Weapons.

      Thanks guys

      p.s. I'm the 50th Endorse----> woot!

Finally!!!! A Better Dragonbone Arrow head!!!! YES!!!
Now, to combine this new mesh with all of those longer arrow mods, so I don't lose all of my Character's fingers when sniping every bandit.

Do we still see the old arrows in first person when we draw the bow?

If you have installed the meshes correctly, you will see the new arrow model when drawing the bow in either first or third person.

By the way, I noticed this overrides the UDKP dragonbone arrow nif.

    From UDKP:
    "NIF Mesh and Texture Fixes
Dragonbone arrow quivers partially disappear when the quiver gets down to a single arrow. (meshesdlc01weaponsdragonbonearrow.nif) (Bug #13095)"

Did you include this fix in your mod?

Fixed! Version 2 uses the UDGP nif not the vanilla Dawnguard nif.
Thanks for brining the problem to my attention.

No problem! And thank you for the mod.
It looks much better and much more functional than the vanilla arrows.
