Thanks for all the downloads and support guys! I know this is an old project now. It's crazy to think it's been 6 years since it's been on here (well 3 years for this version). I've been considering picking up my old projects again and reworking them. Though I no longer play Oldrim and only occasionally play Skyrim SE. But I do have plans now to update this mod and my newer version to something a little different and hopefully better. Though I don't know how long it will take me exactly because well.. life. I have kids and a full time job and all that fun adult stuff. But anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that I appreciate you and any suggestions you may have are appreciated. Fell free to message me with them. Thanks! :)
Hey all! First of all, thank you for downloading my mod! I never thought it would gain this many downloads!
I would like to announce that a completely new version is on the way. I have completely redone the layout and am planning to add new features once I learn a bit more about scripting. It is a WIP, but I am excited to release this mod. More patches will be available as well. I'm not sure when I will finally release it, however. Between work and my 4 month old, having time to mod can be hard to come by. But I will try to update more and let everyone know where this stands! When I do finally release it, it will most likely be a brand new mod.
It's been a slow going project. There are so many patches to do. And I do have a 2 year old and I have also started working more hours. I have started a new version of this mod and am working on the patches. It's proving a bit annoying so I have also been working on side projects and uploads. But I seriously have started working on a new and improved version of this mod. It's maybe half way done, but every stable will be unique and I am trying to learn a bit about scripts for a stable boy and temporary boosts to the horses if they stay in the stables. I want the new version to be way better than this one. It may be taking me forever, but I am working on it.
New file up that fixes the floating carrot issue and it also moves the bed in the Rorikstead stables. Hope that fixes all the bugs.
Enjoy and let me know if anything else comes up!
Update 4/08/2014: Immersive Stables - Vanilla Edition is up now! Plans for a Hearthfire version and an All-in-one version are also planned!
Update 4/06/2014: I do plan on doing a few more updates that will include patches for conflicts with other mods. If you find that this mod conflicts with any other, please let me know. I can make a patch for it. It would also be extremely helpful if you let me know which stables are having conflicts. Thanks!
NEW Update 5/11/2014: Alright guys, I apologize for my lack of patch updates as promised! I haven't forgotten about this mod and patching it, but life has been keeping me so preoccupied that I have not been able to put any time at all into this mod. I haven't played Skyrim or even been on the computer much in over a month. My apologies and I swear I will eventually get to patching. Just keep on the lookout! Thanks for liking my mod.
TO CUTTING ROOM FLOOR USERS: I'm not sure if this was mentioned before, but I noticed that this mod isn't compatible with cutting room floor. At nightgate inn area there is a house called trallius' house and half of it gets buried in the ground if it is above immersive stables in the load order. After putting cutting room floor below immersive stables the issue was fixed but there was a tiny gap on the ground behind the stable at nightgate inn. I hope for cutting room floor compatibility in the new version. Nevertheless, keep up the good work!
Have noticed the same my self. Was also other issues in other places related to this mod. Shame. Was planning to talk to Trallius but I could not since his smith is you know. Hidden by this mod.
Thank you for a great mod, been using it for some time and loving it. I've always wanted a place to stable the horse when traveling instead of leaving him outside in all kinds of nasty weather. Now I don't have to feel bad for leaving the horse outside The little extra touches like being able to sleep in some of the stables on a hay pile like in Rorikstead is nice too. Endorsed.
Hello Fatal n everyone, I came here from patch etac modular and decided to add it , and really glad I did , Gave you kudo's and endorsed, and tracking , THank you fatal for crating a wonderful mod and sharing , and a wonderful life with your 4mth old .. =)
Hi. I really would love to use this mod. Is it compatible with this mod: Inns and Taverns by Mena? Keep in mind that is not the same as the Inns and Taverns RRR enhanced mod you patched. Thanks for all your hard work. Hope you can patch it if it isn't
I'm not sure how it would be incompatible, as Mena's Inns adds unique Inns to the world, whereas this mod adds stables to the existing Inns which didn't already have them.
CRF adds too much junk to the game that has no use really. It's an ok mod if you are interested in playing a vanilla-style game only. I have not tried the other mod you mentioned.
Has there been any progress in resolving the issue around Nightingale Inn between Immersive Stables and Cutting Room Floor? Or a suggestion perhaps?
I am currently using both and unfortunately, I can not enter Nightingale Inn. The door is moved behind a wall and is no longer accessible for function. Visually there is still a door, but quests using the inside of the inn indicate the door is actually further to the left and behind the wall. I've been using Cutting Room Floor for sometime without issue and really like Immersive Stables, but several quests require access to Nightingale Inn which is currently not available.
Can the edits to the Nightgate Inn area in Immersive Stables simply be removed via TESVEdit to account for this so CRF takes over or is it a question of load order?
I used this mod in Vanilla & loved it. Too bad it isn't CRF-friendly
EDIT: I'm sure something as simple as individual files for locations would resolve this though. I know I'm late to the party, but I'm still holding out hope someone might patch this.
I think CRF adds goats to where the stable is in Kynesgrove. It's kinda funny watching the goats do eating sounds next to all that hay though they are having some navemeshing issues as they want to climb all over the place. Truly immersive as I can pretend they are mountain goats. There is also a fence surrounding the stable and I haven't tried to see if a horse is able to get through the opening yet.

Also, do you know if this mod is compatible with Complete Fast Travel Overhaul (CFTO)?
