    For anyone having issues with the dragon priest not attacking and missed this in the description

    I Can Summon The Dragon Priest But He Doesn't Fight?

    What level are you? i purposefully only gave the dragon priest fairly high tier spells & a lvl mult = to player lvl , so if you summon him pre roughly lvl 20 , he wont have enough magicka to cast his spells.
    This is intentional as i see it a representation that until you are more developed as a necromancer you don't have the skill to summon him at his full potential , only enough pull his decayed form from the grave.
    It works both ways though , the more you continually grow in power, the more he will.

    I love this mod, but I'm having problems with the Legionx15 spell, I cast it but it crashes immediately after, It might be conflicting but I'm just not sure.

    great mod! one issue though, the "necromancy" perk seems to be not working with this one. the duration for the summons is still 60 secs.

      just noticed this message eman , ill look into it for you , but i cant really hold any promises , sadly im not all that great in the CK and i tripped around in the dark a lot to make these as they are so far xD

    I've had opportunity to do some more low level testing. The spells look to me to be pretty nicely balanced. Since all of the books appear on the vendor at the same time, a conjurer using them is a bit stronger than a normal character at the very early levels (1-7 or so I'm thinking) but that's only if they're willing to blow pretty much all of their magicka on a single cast in a fight to bring out a more powerful minion. I don't think that's a problem as it will start balancing with other builds pretty quickly (and it's fun).

      yeah i threw out 2 cheaper ones , but theyre lvl mult 0.80 of the player so youll outgrow those, the rest stay respectively at your lvl but the higher up the tree you go the better armor or abilties they have , i just didnt want the actors to become useless after a certain lvl cos they all look awesome , so with the lvl mult theyre all forever useable . Glad its fun

      Well, yeah, they will all stay useful. Because sometimes you need a heavy armor meat (bone?) shield and sometimes you need something that can strike quickly or from a range. I think you've got it all covered. Nice idea on the level multipliers.

      Now what I want to figure out is how come the summoned skeletons with nary a brain cell in their head are smarter companions than Falkur or whatever the big companion is called. That idiot always power attacks right into my line of attack and then wonders why he's nearly killed every fight. Your skellies are too smart for that.

    Great mod, I was wondering what the clothing your character uses in the picture with the spell list. Is it a re-textured version of the light vampire armor?

    I'm digging on this mod so far. Can't believe you don't get more downloads and endorsements. I do have a question and a suggestion.

    The question is, I noticed that the magika cost to summon him didn't reduce when I hit the expert level, does he perhaps reduce at master? That would be totally appropriate by the way, he's a pretty powerful on demand minion.

    The suggestion would be make him a little faster. I've been having issues of him not showing up for the fight until the fight is well and truly done.

    Anyway, great job. I've been enjoying the skeletons, but if the priest can't keep up, the answer for now is usually Dremora Lord.

      mhm ive noticed the dragon priests a total slow ass, not sure myself how to fix that , tbh i told my friend i play with to just keep re-summoning him to fights xD

      Dragon Priest should be master yeah , hes expensive in cost and high in req, or should be xD.

      Thanks for the feedback , ill go have a poke about in the ck / see if i can find any guides or help an stuff, this is the first time ive really made spells or rummaged in the ck beyond making basic followers so its fairly intense xD, did you get any issues with the new skeletons ? and if you dont mind me asking are the install instructions fairly easy to follow?

      I haven't been back to Windhelm to get the new skeletons yet.

      Installation was easy, I let NMM take care of it and it's worked perfectly.

      I think if it was me, I'd leave him at master, give him a duration and reduce the cost to something you can use on a fight by fight basis. At least until you figure out the speed thing. But then I'm a weird mage. I focus heavily in the skill trees and don't wear much in the way of spell cost reduction gear. Just pup a lot of points into magika (2 magika to 1 health). And when I finish my enchanting tree I'll reduce cost to 0 on restoration and destruction since conjuration isn't (or at lest shouldn't be) a cast every couple of seconds skill set.

      Again, great work. I like it and think your modding skills are fine.

      It will say its installed fine if you allow NMM to take care of it however the esp cant read the skeletom models from within the bsa archive for some anal reason and they appear transparent in game unless you extract the archive to the game directory , i dont know why it does that , all i know is it does, id extracted them myself so i could see the models in the ck but i tested the dowloads and installation method so i could write it best for people downloading , i havent had time to test the new guys out yet , theyre really cool though as lifestorock designed them as encounters so their weapons i left as random from loot tables and stuff so if you have any weapon mods with leveled lists on nps's chances are theyll appear at random on the summons for some variation

      Very cool. You're making necromancy useful. Necromancy always fell to the wayside for the antarochs because well, first you had to have a body, then it would turn to ash pretty quickly. Useful?...not so much.

      Another question, do your critters benefit from the necromancy perks? The +100 health etc?

      in all honesty , not sure , ill break down one of the original spells later tonight probably and check out its components beyond what was needed to "make it exist" assigning perk benefits and the such like will all be new things to me so it may take some trial and error. does the draugr not draw a shield when he gets into combat ? i had a visual thing like that with the skeleton till it got into a scrap, also i had a play around with the skeletob overlord last night myself , lets just say he puts the dragon priest to shame :') , if you want something to replace your dremora lord, thats your guy

      Also , thank you for all the feedback and stuff , its helping get an idea for what to tweak and look for respectively to balance things out , atm its more in a "these spells exist" stage xD

      Im thinking of structuring the spells slightly differently to normal instead of having them at static levels and such im thinking of having them at varied lvl mults , ie:-

      - Apprentice - 0.25 of the players lvl
      -Novice - 0.50 of the players lvl
      - Expert - 0.75 of the players lvl
      - Master - 1.00 of the players lvl

      That way there is a sense of progression amongst the summons

      No,the druger never pulls out his shield, and so dies quickly.

      Missed the skeleton Lord. Have to check that out. I think I'll be restarting soon to play a down and dirty necromancer. Thanks for making that possible!

      And your modding skills are way better than mine. I really appreciate the work you're putting into this.

      Hrm wierd, ill reupload it just to be sure as the esp im using is doing its job, i tend to most of my modding and editing when the parents have gone to sleep so my pc doesnt sound like a fighter jet with all the fans going hell for leather :') so come the morning ill have probably changed some stuff

      Thanks for having the patience to try things and report back and such , makes analysing changes that need to occur so much easier

      More information for you. It appears the 1h druger is using a shield about half the time. My suspicion is that whether he has a shield or not is being assigned just like any other druger so sometimes he has the shield and sometimes not. And I guess I shouldn't say he, since there's been unmistakable desiccated boobs on every 1hander I've summoned.

      yeah they should use the random loot tables i made them all like that, that way if you use jaysus swords or anything like that that adds cool weapons to their loot tables it adds them to the summons too, makes for more variation

      By the end of tonight im hoping to have individual costs set for all the spells and cast levels and have them set to the undead conj branch as atm they are "familiar" theres familiar / fire / ice / storm / undead keywords so im presuming these are the binds for the summon type effectively.

      Dont start a new game till i have it finalised though , ive found when trying to load the spells changed on my old save it ctd's as they have new values

      I don't have armored skeletons, and will likely try it without it first. is there a plan for the skeleton lord spell book? I'm starting to feel demanding, but it's just so much fun, this mod of yours. hehe

      Armored Skeletons is kind of key for the mid level spells as im using those models for apprentice/expert/master stuff :/, i will be doing draugr wights and deathlords eventually in the standard one, the overlord is in the armored addon, id truly give it a go, your missing out , but that ones the long winded install :3

      I added Armored Skeletons and Walking Dead, so far I don't see a difference and I apparently fail at console commands.

      you need the original file for the (theres a link in this mod description) and then the addon from the optional files in this mod, then follow the install instructions on my description page .

      Ok, got it. It looks like to get all of the spells, including dragon priest I had to install with NMM in this order Armored Skeletons, Necromancy Unhinged, Necromancy Unhinged - Armored skeletons. I'm about a set as a death cultist sociopath can be.

      lmfao, well i may have just made the original redundant anyway , if this version im about to test goes ok , the dragon priest should be replaced with a skeleton dragon priest , it should only require the files i upload for ease of it, just want to check on my permissions first.

      It should have:
      2 Novice summons
      3 apprentice summons
      3 expert summons
      3 master summons

      All skeletons if IF ive done it right xD

      personally i think the original concepts with the 1h / 2h / ranged variants was a bit too much xD

      I don't know that it was too much. Sometimes you just need an archer, you know.

      Anyway, I'm happy to continue to be your testing Guinea pig. When I download the new one I'll uninstall the existing ones and start a scratch game just to make sure it's all working as intended. Oh, and yeah, the Skeletal overlord for less than 500 gold and 46 magika is totally a cheat. hehe

      By the way, you may not realize this, but the Art of Magika mod lets a character with a lot of perk points in conjuration create staves to summon your mobs. Kinda neat that it did that automagically.

      lmao , yeah , hes a master spell now , ive reworked a lot, the legion and stormcloak summons sometimes have bows , ill check out that staves mod, probably put it in reccomendeds

      The mod isn't just a staves mod. It adds a tonne of items, over 600 I think. And when you had Dragon Priest flagged as an expert spell it allowed making the staff with a greater soul gem, piece of wood, and a summon frost antaroch book. So it was a pretty cheap way of getting access to the spell.

      Anyway, can't wait to try out the new update.

      That's very cool, but if you want scary. I mean the stuff of nightmares then go with zombie troll Trolls always seem to bang me up more than dragons, and they can hide under your bed.

      Yep, you're becoming a cooler modder by the minute. God, the horror if your dragon were on the other side. Especially if he hand the ice form breath. Standing there, frozen solid...watching helplessly as the terrible undead beast comes in for the kill...

      i was just like boooooo , theres no decent dead things to summon , the best you get is a bandit that sounds constipated for 60 seconds before turning into a pile of blue ash xD

      Very nice. Looks like your characters good looking too. And yeah, necromancy got the short end of the stick. In vanilla the only really viable summoner until you get the thralls is elemental...which kind of blows, speaking as someone who has Halloween as his favorite holiday.

      Hard to believe the file hasn't refreshed yet.

      Downloading now. Though I have no idea if 2.0 has your lovely dragon in it.

      Nothing wrong with flirty pose pictures. Heck, I always do female characters as I'd much rather look at an attractive female form than some ugly dude.

      I'll probably post feedback tomorrow (pacific) after I've had the chance to play with and acquire the new spells. I'll be starting a new character just to ensure it isn't all mixed up. Oh, and it's been really nice filling up your posts chatting with you.

    Update: I've now tried the spells with the druger, installed with NMM and they worked great. No issues, except the one with the 1H and shield not having a shield. lol

      just tested it, it appeared with no shield , but as soon as i fireballed a blacksmith in a face it drew one

    Great idea.

    Us necromancers badly need some new toys after Apocalypse removed most of the undead summons and replaced them with Dremora
    for some reason.

    I actually prefer the skeletons to the draugr so it would be nice to have old style oblivion skeleton warriors/champions with sword and board
    or greatswords if you decided to do something different.

      Ive literally just ran through skeletons now , Ive put them up early due to the fact im ridiculously tired and i probably wont do any more today , the console id's for the books are on the mod desc tab if they dont appear on merchants

      I hope this can stand alongside Psikotics Necromancy mod in the future. His mod is good, but it would be better if he hadn't vanished before it was truly finished.

      Im ridiculously new to modding so as far as compatability goes it might be beyond my ability sadly i recently recieved permission to use a lot of the amazing skeleton models from the Armored Skeletons so i may have set my benchmark for what i wanted to achieve massively higher xD Im aiming to simply get them "in game" as fast as i can then worry about magicka costs , lvls and perk requisitions.
