This mod is abandoned and available for public domain. There will be no fixes, updates, etc. I haven't played Skyrim LE in years and I'm glad folks have enjoyed it. Feel free to do whatever you want with this mod. No permission necessary.

so...does this mean there's mods that adds those other regions like morrowind? because i cant think why would we want gates otherwise. and please recommend some of those land mods.
Well, by default those places where borders to other places, but ofc there are none beyond them in vanilla game. But for a better immerse feeling they placed those borders. Now, author of this mod palced gates-guards for an even better immerse (realistic) feeling!
And yes, there are mods in work that add places from other Tamriel regions beyond Skyrim. Atm, the best of it and the biggest mod ever made, is "Beyond Skyrim - Bruma" by The Beyond Skyrim team! It's a huuuuge project that has nothing at all to envy from professional studios works! And from what i heard in a tube video, the 'The Beyond Skyrim' team, as their name indicates, they are planning to add more of Tamriel regions beyond Skyrim.
p.s. duinnin mentioned this in previous message but incase you did not see it, there is a patch for Bruma mod and this one (other patches too), here "Beyond Skyrim-Bruma-Tweaks Enhancements and Patches" by AndrealphusVIII.
Right now, there's: Joobvandie's trilogy of past the border expansions Shadow of Morrowind Rigmor of Burma (for the story/companion Stormcloak) and Beyond Skyrim: Burma (for Burma, Ayleids, & many side quests/stories) Beyond Reach (for High Rock) Grey Cowl of Nocturnal (for Hammerfell) Wheels of Lull (Sotha Sil) Summerset Isle (For the Magic College Dean and elf in us all) Republic of Malsea (An island republic between Tamriel and Akavir) Falskaar and Wyrmstooth (one's bigger and more stable, one has a more interesting central story and stuff) Undeath, Apotheosis, Carved Brink, and Project AHO - for those skill-related Morrowind-style quests in weird corners of Daedric realms and Dwemer Tech Legacy of the Dragonborn (Moonpath to Elsweyr) Lost Colony of Akavir
In progress is Expedition to Atmora (Beyond Skyrim Atmora), Three Kingdoms (Beyond Skyrim Hammerfell), Odyssey of the Dragonborn (various places, including the islands of Adamantia, the Thalmor, and Umbriel the floating city), Olenveld (Necromancer Paradise), and Starfrost (Snow Elves)
I've been wondering this myself. Since the new TES5Edit release I have quite a few mods that say they require extra attention. I am unsure of what to do and, like you I'm also iso answers.
Hello, I am looking in my plugins section in NMM and it shows red UniqueBorderGates cause betterDGgates.esp is missing but i can't find it my self to download it. Any help?

Great mod, really makes the borders to the different regions feel more like checkpoints. No wonder we got caught crossing the border into Cyrodiil!
Crap, that was meant to be asked in the Special Edition version of this mod >_< Didn't notice I was on Oldrim's page. Sorry!Just one question though, are the guards down at the Riften gate supposed to attack me when I get too close?

SSE has some for Valenwood and the Black Marshes
And the result is amazing as author of that patch has made some nice changes to the gate.
It expands on Immersive Hold Borders quite a bit and fixes many bugs.
