After a few months of fixing this mod on and off, I have uploaded this version but with some significant changes:
* Removed the garden behind the inn, relocated the entrance above it and to the sentry walkway. This in an effort to improve compatibility with known city revamp mods and prevent conflicts. * Removed the unnecessary basement. * Integrated all crafting into a single area for greater convenience. * Linked storage system. * Removed most unneeded clutter.
TROUBLESHOOTING If you find any problems, leave a message including the description of the bug.
Some things in odd positions or missing floors: Try to make a gamesave elsewhere (preferably an interior cell other than Solitude), exit, deactivate the mod in your mod manager, open Skyrim again and the gamesave , wait for a day or two (in-game time), make another gamesave, exit the game, reactivate the mod, and then run Skyrim.
If a certain object is out of position (i.e. enchanting table, wine rack), open the console (the tilde key ~), click on the offending object, then type and enter recycleactor to return the object to its proper position.

From skyf0rger -- "Hey, I wanted to add that while this is initially incompatible with the Complete Solitude mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36061/?), it turned out to be super easy to make it compatible. The additions that author made to the Winking Skeever building in his mod covered up both stairways leading to the entrance to The Lucky Skeever. Since his additions were simply a facade, however, it was easy to use the console to click and disable the building additions on both sides, which opened the way to get to The Lucky Skeever. I just wanted to post here about how easy it was in case anyone is dismayed because they think that they can't use both mods together (I sure was! )"

Hello! I was elated to explore this player home. When I downloaded it and went to solitude I could see the exterior (Balcony etc.) but there was no entrance. Is there anyone else with this problem?
Lovely apartment home! Love all the linked storage, sheer curtains, and the layout is f-ing awesome! Even a toilet to roleplay with! lol!! Love the bath! (I use this with JK's Skyrim All in One and I can see why you made the entry like you did but really it is not bad at all. Works perfectly!)
I am leasing it as an apartment from Corpulus for 500 per week (Simple Taxes) and working for him as a waitress (Radiant Prostitution) from 7pm to 2am. He wants me to do 'extra' work as well and split the proceeds....we'll see. *wink* He loved my Breton female charm and my lovely musical skills and seems like many others do to. =P XD Perfect for a/my Solitude Roleplay!
Thank you for making such an awesome house mod! (I also have a few of your other house mods in this game setup now and will eventually try them....they also work and look great!)
The new changes look great. I love that you've put all the crafting stations into the house itself. Btw I just want to be sure, is this compatible with Enhanced Solitude? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/93424
I saw a screenshot in Enhanced Solitude and to me it kinda looked like The Winking Skeever got overhauled there. I can't test it myself now since I've uninstalled Skyrim and will only get back to it soon. Btw thanks for the reply!
I didn't see anything here so have to ask - how can I stop Solitude Guards and other NPCs from walking through the house? It's like they're using it as a shortcut or something. I tried console 'lock'-ing the doors but that didn't do anything. Is there something I can do in xEdit to mark the doors as 'player only' or something? Thanks!
They aren't contacting me though - they are just 'passing through'.. They come in one door and go out the other.
EDIT: I put the 'key required' back on the doors with the key you left in there, but they are still walking through the house. I went outside, the execution scene finished. I went inside. All of a sudden people just come pouring through the house, entering from the balcony and leaving the 'front' door. Wow. I have no idea what to do.
@sa547 I'm loving the changes to this mod (yes I know its been a while since its update) I was wondering if its possible to perhaps add like a shortcut inside the Winking Skeever. As much as this is a great revamp it gets real old having to run all the way up there just to get inside. Then when leaving its a far run to anything else as well.
Unfortunately there are mods which change the tavern's interior, which includes the navmesh, so ruling out the idea of adding a door into it. I'm trying to make the mod compatible as much as possible without me forcing to make patches.
That's great news! Sorry I'm replying so late, but any chance of having this integrated into "Enhanced Solitude"? I'm assuming you're already aware of it as it incorporates Wolf Tower into it. I was hoping to use them both together and turn The Lucky Skeever into a guild house for my Legacy playthrough.
Hey mate, Ive been using this mod for Skyrim for soo long and now that I started Skyrim Special Editon I just cant do my Solitude citizen playthrough without it, will it be imported to Skyrim Special Edition? Have a good time mate.

Translations with only the plugin, yes, just message me.
But the whole mod... Nope.
It's done that way in order to reduce compatibility problems, mainly with JK Cities.

Post-execution traffic jam
I tried a few things - I don't know enough about door flags and/or navmesh to try anything further. Oh well.
