Now all we need is a WRISTWATCH mod.

Looking for a mod that added something to "domesticity" I came across this amazing mod that seems so sadly forgotten.
I converted it for my personal use in my game in Skyrim SE where it works perfectly.

I've no idea if you still look in on this work, Malachy1681. I hope you do and would consider updating it. it's lovely.
Thank you anyway for this gem! Endorsed.

Can't believe I've missed this little gem till now. Oh, and other posters are right. It does remind me of the Oblivion mod. IF you were to tackle adding clock towers in every city, you would be a hero. Till then.....thank you for sharing. Will return to endorse soon. Kudos given.

How to place and activate Clocks of Skyrim

01.) Buy a clock at Riverwood Trader
02.) Enter the location where you want to place the clock
03.) Drop the clock on the ground
04.) Leave the place and go to another cell
05.) Open the console (~ key) and type pcb ENTER (purge cell buffer) and close console (using ~)
06.) Return to where you left the clock
07.) Grab the clock PRESSING and HOLDING the E key for a few seconds
08.) Gently move around the place and put the clock in desired position
09.) Press E to drop the clock in that position
10.) Press E again very quickly to activate the clock. Once placed, the clock will tick and chime, it's done!
11.) Pressing E in an active placed clock will show the current time via a notification
12.) If Press E while sneaking, a menu wil be shown to tweak the chiming and/or ticking in a specific activated clock. Several options are avalaible in MCM menu
13.) An activated placed clock could be re-taked if ypu press E and hold while sneaking.

For wall clocks I recommend Storage Helpers: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17574

Storage Helper has what advantage over Jaxonz repositioner? I've used neither

It's not possible to fix the wall clocks to stay in place in mid-air without one of the aforementioned mods, is it? I want to build a staircase in mid-air with the wall clocks (like I saw in MMX Reviews on youtube) but to the water holding "tank"/bathing tub at the Heljarchen Farm mod near the forge so I don't have to jump off the near-by rocks to get in it ; )

I've found leaving the cell and the console command to purge the cell, unnecessary. I think an important point is that just like in the description, we press the action button quickly to activate the clock.
      I'm now using jaxson repositioner : )

This reminds me of the Oblivion mod that added clocks to the cities (indoors and outdoors) that you could actually look at and see what the in-game time was.. good times (hehe)

Going to try it out anyway even if it's not quite like that one XD

Fantastic Immersion Mod ... the ticking clock and chimes add a lot to a home.

Janox positioner is a must-have with this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17574

It makes placement a breeze AND has lock-down feature so the clock won't move when you activate it.

As for the rarity and exclusivity? Perhaps it was one of Camilla's crazy ideas to try selling these newfangled things... to a bunch of xenophobic, neophobic Nords who still have not accepted chimneys as a better way of letting smoke out of the house... so they sit on the store shelves, awaiting the right buyer.

Don't let the Vigilants catch you with one of these in your possession! Surely some sort of dark magic is involved in these things that seek to replace looking at the sky to track the time.

It does add a lot to a home, you're right.

Btw, I don't understand why your link for Jaxonz repositioner goes to a different mod, Storage Helpers (?). Didn't you mean this link instead?:

This is very charming. I do like the desk clocks a lot. Would be nice to see larger floor clocks to fit the period a bit. Jaxonz Positioner is a must with this.
