Okay, so I've had some time to look at what consequences SavageArtistry's method to install my mod (see below) will have. What will mainly happen is that Brehanin's Better Vampires will overwrite a small change in my mod. As a matter of fact, it's exactly the change I made to make the correction for the Rising at Dawn quest work with Better Vampires. LOL
My advice: Use the newest version of my mod, and let LOOT sort it for you. Don't change the load order LOOT proposes.
If you follow these instructions, my mod WILL be compatible with most other mods out there. As mentioned in the Known Issues section of the mod description, your character will probably NOT be able to cure themselves of vampirism (for instance, with the vampire cure you receive from Falion in the Rising at Dawn quest). If you try it anyway, your game may possibly break!
If you are using my mod and decide you DO want to be cured of vampirism, then please use the instructions in the Uninstallation section of the mod description to uninstall my mod, since you won't be needing it anymore. Then the cure should work.
Because of these newfound insights, I'm going to remove the files for version 1.1 and ask everyone to use the newest version, but follow the uninstallation instructions if you decide your character should no longer be both a Vampire Lord and a Werewolf.
Also, if you have any other problems after installing my mod, follow the instructions in the Troubleshooting section of the mod description, or follow SavageArtistry's instructions in the sticky above.
SavageArtistry has been kind enough to share some comments to get the Vampire Lord & Werewolf Hybrid mod working with newer versions of Better Vampires. Currently he's up to date with BV 7.4 and everything seems to be working fine. Here are his instructions:
From SavageArtistry: =================
This tutorial is for getting Better Vampires by Brehanin working with Vampire Lord and Werewolf Hybrid (Better Vampires version 6.6) by OregonPete. A bonus tutorial below covers adding Bat Travel by DidymusEi.
1. Start a new game with all your mods active except Vampire Lord and Werewolf Hybrid (VLW_Hybrid.esp). You can either have it installed and unchecked, or wait to install it. Your choice.
2. Let SkyUI register all your other mods.
3. Save your game.
4. Install VLW_Hybrid.esp or activate it if already installed. Put it above Better Vampires in the load order. I personally have it between Moonlight Tales and Better Vampires in the load order. (See Load Order below)
As far as overwriting scripts, Vampire Lord and Werewolf Hybrid is in a .bsa. Leave it that way. Moonlight Tales and Better Vampires are both installed as loose files in the Skyrim Data directory.
The "Bat Travel" power is added as soon as you use the bats power in Vampire Lord form. It doesn't automatically get added if you're using Better Vampires though and you have to manually add it with the console.
help "bat travel" player.addspell xx002f9b (or whatever it is in your game)
You can add the Cloud of Bats spell by casting Bat Travel and using it to configure Cloud of Bats.
I am having a problem when I transform into a werewolf with this mod, it will constantly make the vampires think I am mortal, as well as not allow me to feed on people like a vampire. This essentially means that my character is not a vampire after I transform into a werewolf, making the mod pointless. I mean, it DOES make me have both powers, but it also makes it to where I am technically not a vampire, just a werewolf with vampire abilities and weaknesses.
Replying in hopes that the author will see and note this issue because I have it as well. If it helps at all, I notice in the MCM of Better Vampires(using version 8.1 of BV) that I no longer had the keywords "ActorTypeUndead" and "Vampire" and but still had the "PlayerIsVampire" flag. I retain all powers, as shad stated, and the ability to turn into a Vampire Lord remains.
You need to be "Vampire Lord" again and revert the form and it will bring you back to a vampire, same to werewolf. You need to overcome the transition.
When checked using MO, it says there that the esp can be disabled if MO managed bsa archive is to be ticked. So does it still work with the esp disabled then?

Thanks again, SavageArtistry!
Uninstalled this mod, game stoped crashing.
Might have a problem there.
