Is there any chance that you might port this mod & your other one, for Brand-Shei's stall in Riften, over to Skyrim SE? I love these mods, & it just wouldn't feel the same to play without them.
Update: I amateurishly ported over both of these FGFM mods to Skyrim SE for my own personal use, and so far as I can tell in the 100+ hours I've played, they both are working great.
An official port with an update or something would still be preferable, but when porting it over ourselves it definitely functions just fine.
I'd love a sort of "Ultimate Grey Quarter" mod, sort of like they pulled off for Solitude, but i'm 99% sure that any ported version of this would be incompatible with Capital Expansion - Grey Quarter
The silt strider harness made me think it was related to something in Solstheim proper, and the tattered note made me think... Old Attius Farm? Is the story that "S" (Suvaris???) burned down that farm??? Is the fake soul gem a reference to the Balmora Mages Guild quest in Morrowind? Are they all Morrowind references? I have never-finished-Morrowind syndrome. In any case, the mod makes me really happy, I feel like it's the first effort I've seen to making Windhelm feel like it's healing from the civil war :)
From what I can gather from the mod's webpage, it sounds like it might, but I cannot say for sure. If you decide to download this mod, I would be grateful if you could confirm it for the rest of us.
I had it working with JK's Windhelm, although I was having some pretty severe texture problems with individual items. After messing around with my installed mods/load order, I now CTD upon entering Windhelm, and I believe this mod is involved. I'll report whatever I can figure out here.
EDIT: This mod is definitely part of my problem, but the good news is, the incompatibility isn't with JK's Windhelm.
Thank god you have this mod on the nexus! I used your workshop version untill my steam decided to be a turd and not let me download it. Windhelm isn't the same without this little gem ;w;
From the video that led me here in the first place, I can see that this is an issue with the mod. Still going to use it though, since it really adds a nice flare to the quarters. Not going to spend a lot of time on those roofs anyway
I just discovered something awesome. Turns out this other, totally unrelated mod, fixes the most of the roof clipping. That indicates that most of the roofing I thought was added by this mod was most likely always there, and it doesn't prevent clipping simply because it was never intended for walking.
The mod is 'Shenk Thievery Overhaul', and it involves a lot of "roof play". I haven't had time to play much around with it yet, so can't really tell whether it is completely compatible with other city mods, but so far it looks good. I use ETaC btw... Anyone who play as thief should check it out. Sounds real fun!
If you just want the roofs fixed, check it out as well
It's amazing how much life this breathes into a forgotten corner of what may be the least likeable city in Skyrim. Inigo hates Windhelm with a passion and even he had good words to say when I brought us into your cornerclub. A trodden on people can still have pride, and this mod goes the extra mile delivering that.
Praise aside, I just wanted to offer up the fact that with the 1.2a no stalhrim version, Sadri was still trying to sell me a stalhrim helmet, Same with the kind fellow down in Riften I got your other mod for. Also, the clothes that were meant to be hung from the line in the street were instead locked in place maybe about half a meter from the ground below where I assume they were to have hung, and there was a small lantern hanging in thin air in the cornerclub beside the two seats without a table in the corner of the first floor. I'm not sure if something went wrong when I downloaded it yesterday or if this is something that is happening to anyone. I can wisk away the lantern and replace the clothes on the line with the help of the Jaxons positioner mod, but I just wanted to cue you in that something odd did happen. Thank you, and good luck on all of your projects.
This mod looks great, and I will be using it. The dark elves are so trampled on that I feel like anything that makes their corner of the world better is worth having. But that being said, do you know of any issues with Interesting NPCs? You said you use it with Inconsequential NPCs, so I assume it works with that. But what about Interesting NPCs?
Okay, I guess I'm stupid because I can't figure out what a stilt-striders reign (or harness or whatever it was, can't remember) and a fake soul gem have in common.

(Though it is a little bit a shame...)
