Is there a chance of an update for those of us using the legendary USKP because the file isn't picking up the patch and is crying because I don't have uskp instealled (legendary version overwrites all previous uskp patches)
Didn't realize people still use this mod! I'll actually see if I can't fix this this tomorrow. Will have to dust of the old xvision mod though as I personally went over to RS Children.
Edit: There we go! Got the new file up and running. Let me know if you find any oddities with it. Should be none though.
Hi Exocylps, I just re-installed Skyrim, I use Xvision children and Interesting npc's, most children are wearing PaP, but I noticed that in Dragonsreach only one child npc is wearing clothes from PaP. Could it be because Interesting npc's, and USKP have updated? The npc's (Dagny, etc) look fine(no invisible probs) but are wearing default clothes, I know you have been busy, but it will take someone like you to check it out and see if there is way to fix the problem. Thanks for all you have done, and I understand if you are too busy to look into the problem.
edit: After posting I read the previous comments, and made sure my load order was correct, uninstalled, re--installed, tried the loose PaP mod, and tried the disable, enable, and the clothes are still the same, almost everywhere else they are correct.
edit: I uninstalled Interesting npc's and realized Loot was putting the patch above xvision complete, so I put it below Xvision complete, and now disable/enable seems to be working, all is well now..
Hi there! Any chance of updated XVision patches? Some of the mods (Inconsequential NPCs, Interesting NPCs, etc) have since been updated. Maybe that's outside the stated goal of the mod ("XVision Children Redone - Prince and The Pauper Patch" ), but thought I'd ask.
The best I could do is to allow for any changes to the effected npcs to be updated so to say. However if there is any new npc's you'd first have to inquire with the appropriate base mod as that'd be outside the goal of the mod as you mention.
Currently busy with some other stuffs right now so can't promise any timeframe though.
I'm fairly new to modding, and I've been trying to get Prince and the Pauper and XVision Children installed properly. Right now I'm having a problem where Balgruuf's kids in Dragonsreach aren't wearing their fancy noble clothes, just basic outfits that I don't even think are from PaP. Before I installed any XVision Children mods or patches, it worked just fine. Would there be a problem with my mod order, or something else I'm not seeing?
XVision Children - Main.esp XVision Children - HF.esp XVision Children.esm Prince and the Pauper XVision Children - HF PaP.esp
So if I understood this correctly, you first had only Prince and the Pauper, but later decided to also install xVision on top of that? While only using Prince and the Pauper, the clothes showed up properly, but once you installed xvision and my patch it turned out as described?
Either way, I think it might be an issue with your save file. You'll have to use the console to reset the effected children. To do this: 1) Open the console. 2) Target the effected child. 3) type 'disable', enter. 4) type 'enable', enter. This should reset the target and fix the issue.
Thank you for the quick response! Yeah, you understood it all correctly. I've since tried disable/enable, different mod orders, redownloading the mods, etc. Now (back to the originally posted mod order) instead of wearing different clothes, Frothar and Dagny and Lars Battle-born are half invisible. :/
First thing you'll have to check is to make sure you've installed the proper files from xvisioin. You'll need the facegen files for the faces to show up properly. So just install all the stuffs you want from xvision and prince and the pauper. After that you replace the esps according to the description.
I'm having an odd problem where I can give clothing to a female child of mine and they can change clothes just fine, where as all male child npc's all wear the dragon tunic. If I gift them clothing they briefly take off the tunic like they are about to change but just put the same thing back on.
*Edit Nvm started a new game and everything works great now.
The kids that are added by Inconsequential NPCs have the "grey face" bug when I use this patch. Is there something I've installed wrong? Here's my load order:
Xvision Children.esm Xvision Children - Complete.esp PrinceandPauper.esp HearthfireMultikid_PNP Patch.esp Xvision Children - 3DNPC.esp Xvision Children - CoInc PaP.esp

Xvision Children.esm
Xvision Children - Complete.esp
PrinceandPauper.esp
HearthfireMultikid_PNP Patch.esp
Xvision Children - 3DNPC.esp
Xvision Children - CoInc PaP.esp
Also, did you install the Xvision Children - IncNPCs from Xvision Children? Need to install that one, even if the ESP file isn't needed.
Also, no need to use "Xvision Children - Complete.esp" with "Xvision Children - CoInc PaP.esp" installed.
