However if you use NMM to install the mod, the way you have your files uploaded NMM is butchering the install and causing all kinds of problems, the craft/travel menu is not working and all the wigs on followers just show a bald head on top with a ring of hair around the sides of the head.
Doing a manual install of the Main File download then V1.2 and overwrite the files it asked to works fine.
If you uploaded a version of the entire mod as its is working from you data folder I think that would solve the NMM trouble.
OH LOL this is what's going on? Man I've been digging all day and thought it was an issue with ApachiiSkyHair! I love this mod here and never had an issue before until i upgraded I guess.
Oh well glad I went here and thank you for the fix!!
I love these wigs and they were on xbox, i had to delete all my mods and cannot find Apachii wigs now. I used them all the time is there anyway they can be put back on xbox? I spent 2 days looking in the mod section. Sad now.
I have the exact same thing, my temptress files also do not correctly refer to this mod anymore, which is the only reason i got it in the 1st place feelsbadman. Teleporting temptress followers to wigroom and equipping them makes them bald NotLikeThis
I really like this mod for the purpose of changing the hairstyles on my followers, but I've had a perpetual and confounding problem (even in brand-new games, or different saves, or after totally deleting and re-downloading/activating the mod months after deleting EVERY mod and reverting my Skyrim to vanilla, etc.): I cannot equip them on my Player Character.
It isn't that they simply won't show; clicking on them in my inventory does nothing and no "equipped" arrow will appear next to the selected wig. This is even if my character is completely naked, with nothing (not even mods that add things like wings or kitty ears or somesuch, which I rarely use) that could possibly be occupying the slot. I've been trying to get this to work for ages now, and no matter what I try (and no matter, it seems, which other mods I have or don't have), they just won't. I can't use the "regular" wigs, nor the "PO" player-only hair-matching wigs. I have no idea if I'm doing something bizarrely wrong-- I d/led 1.0, overwrote it with 1.2 as per the installation instructions, and... no dice. They simply will not equip for me (I've even tried storing them in an owned chest and then taking them back out again, or giving them to followers and then taking them back, or dropping them and immediately picking them back up... nope).
(Yes, I suppose I could just go to Racemenu and change my hair, but I apparently have so many hair mods (Well, KS Hairdos, Apachii, and Kijiko Hair, anyway) that if I try to scroll through them for more than 30-60 seconds my game will run out of memory allocation and crash-- so I just kinda "dive in", pick a hairstyle as quickly as possible, and then get the heck out of the menu for a minute or so before going back and "quick-picking" again if I don't like the one I previously selected.)
TL;DR: I was hopeful that this mod would give me an easy alternative to this problem, and I really like the sort of "try before you buy" non-permanent/unequippable-if-I-change-my-mind notion, but alas, even after a year or two of trying, I still can't figure out what is preventing these wigs from being eqippable by my Dragonborn even though they work perfectly on humanoid followers.
If anyone else has an idea or has dealt with this problem, I'd be happy to hear about it.
Has anyone helped with this? @Suvani, did you figure it out? I have the same issue. Followers will wear wigs no problem but my player won't equip any of them (no "equipped" arrow will appear).
does this make the female hairstyles available for male characters, then? (I'm trying to get back into playing skyrim by recreating my old character, but the mod I used to have that unlocked mod hairs for custom races is gone...)

(I haven't tried it with this mod-- because I don't use it-- but AddItemMenu should work.)
Hello RONIN
@ Lohan and Sizzlor I have a lazy way of accessing the wigs. 1] Enter console command by hitting the ~ key. 2] Type this, help wig then hit the enter key. 3] You can scroll up and down through the list that displays by hitting your page up and page down keys. 4] When you see the wig ID number you want type this. player.additem [ID number] [qty] then hit the enter key. ....Whoosh! ...Now you have what ever qty of wigs you typed in console command in your inventory. 5] hit the ~ key again to exit console command. 6] Check your inventory. It will be in the Ws = Wig. ....I like to try them all so I just randomly select ID numbers to see what the wig looks like. ....I do it this way because I simply don't want to take up another plugin slot for this. ....And I like surprises! ....Hope this helps https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/743142 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/images/743144
I like the follower Neisa a lot, but her HDT hair is always throwing off artifacts everywhere. This mod is so awesome for everyone in the game, but especially for Neisa! Now she looks great in the wigs. I give her and my other followers a new hair style when ever it suits me. The big plus for me is that now Neisa doesn't have to wear a helmet or hat to stop the artifacts anymore. She looks great and so do all of my followers. Thank you so much! <3
If you don't like how it looks, this is probably one of those times when it's best just to not use it-- and move on. Given the wide array of mods available on the Nexus-- which means not all of them are going to fit any one person's tastes-- that's a good rule of thumb to keep in mind IMO.
Otherwise you're seen as dissing the hard work that's been put into providing a mod (at no cost to you).

A: Most meshes don't fit Khajit, but some do. (F02, F11, F14, F44, F50, F63, M33, M39 and M54 have a Khajit Mesh)
