I used NifOptimizer on the meshes and stuck them in ebony sword folder as a replacer, and they work fine on SE. I think I also used texconv on the textures, but I don't think that's really necessary.
For the record, the program doesn't work on everyone's computer for some reason. It doesn't work on mine. Also, just because a mesh displays doesn't mean its 'fixed'. Meshes will always display regardless of which version they're meant for. Using the wrong version for the game will just result in relentless crashes. I think its due to an overflow error, but I'm not certain.
I installed this mod this morning, so far so good. It looks really cool. Thank you for this. The look of the ebony sword always bugged me and, while I was running a mod that improved the look while retaining the basic design and it was working well, I much prefer your design.
Divines smile on you, friend. May your road lead you to the Sands Behind the Stars, and an eternity of basking in the glory of Ysmir's Beard. Thank you as always, InsanitySorrow!

Hell, I think it probably already works with SE.
If Cathedral doesn't work for optimizing meshes, there's always Nif Optimizer.
