I just installed this and took it for a run but it doesn't seem to be working so let's see if I did something wrong. First of all I'm using it with Perkus Maxamus. I haven't read all the documentation but I assumed it was compatable. No combat mods installed so load order maybe? It's sitting pretty high up does it have to be after Perkus and the other creature mods? Tested it on some bandits in bleak falls barrow and no matter what I moved the sliders to they died just as fast.
Edit: I don't know, maybe it's just Perkus Maximus. Everything has been buggy since I started using it. Even after running that patcher.
There is no conflict. The mod just lets you control how quickly you encounter difficult enemies, without modifying the min/max level caps of the encounter zones. It's basically a more useful difficulty slider.
Although if a mod changes the encounter zones to have a fixed difficulty (min level = max level) then the spawn sliders won't have any effect.
like one of Skyre's module and i think Requiem also changes this...
lool gonna try this with skyre (no encounter zones) , populated everything , sands of time , obis , immersive patrols , immersive creatures , revenge of enemy , duel and deadly combat xD.
My only guess is this conflicts with requiem or skyre encounter zones , which asigns minimum level to certain dungeons and areas...or my guess this overwrites the level of the enemies tampered by either vanilla or mods right?
i wonder what level will it put to dynamic cell respawned enemies...or it doesn't touch those?

These are my first comments, and I normally don't comment to mods a lot. What I understand about this mod is; THIS mode gives you the opponent to change "NPC/monster Encounter level of which they spawn".
Example: After several testing... You are in a dungeon: the dungeon enemies level range is 10-100; there are overall 27 enemies in the dungeon. Facts: - 14 enemies are set to Easy spawns. "Green encounter". - 7 Enemies are set to Medium spawn. "Yellow encounter" - 5 Enemies are set to Hard spawn. "Orange encounter" - 1 is set to Very hard (normally the Dungeon Boss). "Red Encounter" -(Encounters will always spawn 1 level above the first stage.. That mean.. green spawn as level 10.. then Yellow have to spawn as level 11 as mimium.)(normally)
What you will encounter as level 10 : Now since you are level 10, and you are using the default game sitting. (Easy33% - medium66% -hard100% - veryhard125%)
- Green(easy) enemies(33%) maximum level will be level 10(your level) multiply with 0.33 = level 3. (But since the dungeon level range is 10-100, that mean those enemies will be level 10. Since the dungeon's minimum level for the enemies are 10.) - Yellow(66%) "your level multiply with 0.66 =level 7 "maximum enemies level = 6-7" (However the dungeon are still mimimum level 10.. so those enemies will also be level 10.) - Orange (100%) your level multiply with 1.0 = 10. - Red (125%) - level 12-13 ... (you level multiply with 1.25 = 12.5) - SO as level 10 in this dungeon you will encounter; 26 enemies spawn as level 10-13 and one enemy level 14+...
Now we are doing the same run, but this time.. you are level 30.....
-Green = level30 multiply with 0.33 = 9.9 = level 10. -Yellow = 30 ' 0.66 = 19.8 = level 11-20 -Orange = 30 ' 1.0 = 30 = level 30 -Red = 30 ' 1.25 = 37.5 = level 31-38. -(Again the mimimum level spawn are alway sat to be +1 level above the first stage) (normally) - 14 will spawn as level 10, - 7 will spawn as level 11-20, - 5 will spawn as level 21-30, and the last one "the boss" will spawn as level 31-38.
Now you are a hardcore gamer... And i might question the insanity when using this mod.. You decided to use the mod like this as i did. Easy=100%, - Medium=150%, - Hard=200%, - Veryhard=300%
14 enemies will spawn as level 30 (green) - level30 ' 1.0 max level - (aveage enemies level 25) 7 Enemies will spawn as level 31-45 (yellow) - level30 ' 1.5 max level - (aveage enemies level 40) 5 Enemies will spawn as level 46-60 (orange) - level30 ' 2.0 max level (aveageenemies level was 50. 1 Enemy will spawn as level 61-90 (red) - level30 ' 3.0 max level ( after serveral testing, the aveage level was 68, but I did encounter one level 89)
Yes for the sake of it.. i tested it with Easy300% - Medium200% - Hard150% - Veryhard100% Let just say it worked... except Veryhard - Veryhard encounter are still +1 level above hard.. but that might just be the game... Since it was a test.... I did need to add a few exstra HP to my Char...
Sorry for this late reply but I was busy with other things.
elguiri: You already have the option to reset to default if you go to edit any value.
Dakwonju: If you want to be easily killable just set the Damage To PC multiplier higher. 1.5x to 3.0x is a decent range depending on how masochistic you are. The spawn multipliers essentially control how early you encounter high level enemies. If you set them higher you may find higher level enemies before you are ready for them. It does not directly control how much HP enemies have. If you want (all) enemies to have less HP then set the Damage By PC multiplier higher.

Although if a mod changes the encounter zones to have a fixed difficulty (min level = max level) then the spawn sliders won't have any effect.
Does this make the difficulty slider obsolete then?
Or will it take the adjusted values from the difficulty slider and then calculate the numbers from it

A very good mod.
