1. Open the mod with TES5Edit 2. Delete the BountyGoldConfigMenuQuest record from the Quest Section. 3. Edit the variables in the Globals section to the amounts you want.
Editing the values in the .esp file only works if you haven't used the mod on your save game.
If you need to change them while in-game use the console: set BG_XXXXXXX to AMOUNT
This method is unsupported, and i will not answer questions or problems with it.
If you don't see the mod in the MCM menu try this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57795/?
Sadly, this excellent old mod has stopped working. You no longer receive your reward: at all. As in, no gold period. Increased bounty rewards, however, works great. I highly recommend that as an alternative to this one.
feels like cheating to me, if you want to make lots of gold them try "All Races Drop Skulls" mod and "Dragons Giants Mammoths and Trolls Drop Skulls" mod.
Not cheating if you use mods that makes things much harder. Example Requiem. Add in perma-death in Dead is dead or similar mods, and you can easily make the bounties higher without it being OP. Look at BelmontsBoy Ultimate Skyrim modlist and you'll see what I mean.
Wonderful mod, but I'd like to add the same comment as several others: the mod previously worked in a load order that didn't change much, then at some point it resulted in no add of gold when the reward was to be handed over. No other detectable mistakes; just no message of "X gold added" (and no gold added, of course). I'm certainly not blaming the author for this; I have over 250 mods active. I'm just pointing out the problem (which goes away if you turn off the esp). I couldn't begin to think where it should go in my order, and I haven't done a LOOT autosort of mods in a long time (I've been doing it manually to avoid LOOT's sorting problems).
But my problems aside, which most other users very likely won't have, this is a GREAT mod. A+
Just came to see how well this mod works before I get it, but I encountered problems like that before with other mods, did any of your mods update (if set to do it automatically) Or perhaps a game update? Or could be as simple as a file got corrupted?
This mod was one of my favourites a couple of years ago, now that the Skyrim special edition is out I would really like to play it again, any chance to see it imported into the new version??
I realize I am a year late to the party on this post but I bet someone else will read this thinking the same thing so here is the answer :)
Not straight away. You need to conver the esp to form 44. That is simple to do, just load the esp in the new creation kit and save it. Then install with your mod manager of choice (or install first then convert the esp either way works). You dont need to do anything with the BSA as it doesn't contain anything that needs conversion (not true of all BSAs but this one is good to go as is) . Process takes about 5 minutes and works flawlessly in SE (plenty of videos on U tube. Watch the one Darkfox did on mod conversions)
As a side note, this mod has not been updated in 5 years. I am not sure how it works from a logistics standpoint but this mod is probably free domain by now if the mod author is gone for good if someone wants to be responsible for the port and ofc give the original mod author full credit as all you are doing is a simple port to SE.In fact, all of the authors mods are from 2012 and 2013 so he/she is most likely long since moved on from skyrim .
I like playing a mercenary type in my roleplaying games, but the default rewards for merc work in Skyrim are pathetic to the point that I can't be bothered to even do them. If Whiterun wants me to preemptively protect it from a dragon, they better pay their dues, otherwise the "Jewel of Skyrim" can burn as far as I'm concerned.
For those wanting to make this mod work with SSE you can just use BAE (Bethesda Archive Extractor) to extract the bsa and put the esp and extracted files in the data folder like any other mod, you do still need SkyUI and SKSE64 of course.
This mod is an essential one. Though I do have to ask: are there plans for this to cover the gold rewards from the Companions radiant quests as well? Those also give a measly 100 gold.
if it interest someone, i made a speadsheet with graphic to see the amount of gold per level I get.
It's available here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-6NWxQIONea8C76Bx9F6E9iiyox4kVbkyfQN_eXmjIw/edit?usp=sharing
you can fiddle with the data in the first sheet and see the change in the graphic. In the second sheet there is the raw data for all level used for the graphic.

You make no sense.

Not even when skse & skyui is out for it?
That said, i honestly see no reason why the mod will not still work as is. It's still the same game.
