Does this work with Skyrim Special Edition? Could this be re-uploaded to the Special Edition Nexus?

They do work, just look slightly too bright due to Special Edition's lighting.

But you can easily change that using any image editing software. Open up the coin01.dds and drop the brightness and it'll look great.

Hi guys , I've never have problems with this mod before , but now I'm having an issue with the gold coin texture, (I am using the gilt version and they look black in game). I just can't figure it out , I would really appreciate some help.
    Thank you in advance.

Black textures are caused by reaching the VRAM limit with too many texture packs, usually those with lower resolution will load first, leaving those with higher resolution turn black. This means that your video card is not capable of using this texture due to other textures you have downloaded, I have a GTX gygabyte 780 ti with 3gb of memory, and although I am not getting black screens, I am getting awful hiccups when opening the menus. I am assuming these textures are 4k, and this much resolution on a little coin is not that necessary.

Shiny gilt gold texture worked initially and looks impressive. Unfortunately after loading up skyrim a few hours later and looting some gold I noticed the texture was now black and the gold in my inventory also disappeared.

Amazing job, looks flawless, I for one have another mod allowing me to make piles of gold anywhere, if there was any way that you could edit and add those to the bundle.. that'd be great

-Cough- I failed to point out that what I meant by the piles of gold, was the piles from Dragonborn. Editing those would cover everything else I think.

Ever since I installed the Skyrim HD texture pack, the modded gold textures have been coming up black in-game. Reverting to vanilla textures fixes issue, reinstalling gives black textures again.

I have plenty of V-ram, and get 60fps even with all my mods I have. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

A little late for a response to this issue: RE: Black texture on gold coins.

It seems the Cubemaps from Skyrim 2K are not compatible. The quickfix is to delete the textures/cubemap directory from Skyrim 2k.

I was struggling to figure this problem out for myself, but thankfully some research on the forums pointed me in the right direction.

This only affects the "Gilt" version of this mod. "Antique" works fine with Skyrim 2K's cubemaps.
