Thanks to everyone who has downloaded and endorsed this mod so far . I have just released v. 2.3 which adds some more details to the Dwarven Crossbow and fixed some little texture inconsistencies of the Steel Crossbow.
You can overwrite this with the optional file if you prefer the black/silver design of Vampire's Bane.
I have just released version 2.1 which includes some cosmetic fixes for the steel crossbow to further enhance its visual apperarance. My first optional variant - Vampire's bane - has been released now as I have promised.
It's a shame the Vampire's Bain isn't stand-alone. I was hoping that I would be the only one using that particular X-bow in Dawnguard. I wanted to keep the texture I found for the regular steel x-bow. Is there anyway you could make it stand-alone, please.
I like this mod. I also have a question unrelated to this mod. can you please make your character a follower? Its fairly easy to do and I would really enjoy having your character as one of my 27 companions
Omg, awesome mod o.O And what armor (http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/35826-3-1368098397.jpg) are you using? I really loved your work. ^^
@EcthelionOtW Is the Vampire Bane Edition an alternative retex of the steel crossbow or is it a standalone crossbow with the Silvered Perk or Dawnguard Anti-Vampire property?
I am using your main file for the normal crossbow, and downloaded your Vampire's Bane version and created a 'Silvered' crossbow in my game using the texture - looks great.
The quivers don't show up either way, but I haven't looked into why not yet.
Finally! I've been going insane over the lack of textures for these guys, especially when compared to stuff like Amidianborn. These are simply amazing!
