I don't know, I've found it pretty useful, and actually rather immersive. Your Night-Eye ability gets overwhelmed by bright lights, best to go back to normal vision at that point. That said, it looks like it's increasing saturation based on relative luminosity, perhaps the saturation boost could benefit from lower values.
Edit: Then again, I should add I'm also using Climates of Tamriel. Something to darken the normal lighting may be required to keep Temeraire from becoming overwhelming at all times.
Hi, I have an issue: it doesn't work. I chose the Psycho effect during installation. I used Mod Organizer. SKSE, PapyrusUtil, USLEEP, SkyUI and all that "basic" stuff that many mods ask by default are already installed. I'm not using an ENB.
Any ideas to find the cause of this issue and fix it?
well i even reinstalled skyrim but the mod is still in effect :/ i have no idea what more i have to do. maybe i will start it from scratch scratch, like uninstalling every single mod and set up mod organizer and everything again :/
alright i think i found the reason, i installed it as a part of Belmont Boy's Ultimate Skyrim package and it seems like it is hardcoded in Ultimate Skyrim's patches. I will try to install it with the vanilla setting. Thanks for the support anyways!
It's listed in the Readme, but it still took me a while to figure it out, probably cause I don't read everything.. x.x
If your having a problem, with the effect not showing up at all (I was using a number of mods, but primarily Requiem, Thirst, and This one as well as the Real Vision ENB) and you are using an ENB, go into the ENBseries.ini file in your Skyrim Directory and change "UseOriginalPostProcessing" to either 1, or True.
This fixed me up, and I hope it can do the same for you!
Mentioned it in another post but I will also mention it here. If your ENB doesn't work with night vision you can simply Go in to the ENB settings in game ( Its the text that says hold shift and press Enter ) I believe that is what it said... when you load skyrim read the text that pops up ..anyway. .. In there you can actually set a keybind to turn off and on the ENB .. WITHIN the game. Simply set a key and your done. Easy Peasy lemon Squeezy ...
It doesn't give a hit to your game and can be done quickly and on the fly. Again, Hope this helps.
Does anyone know some nice dark and rather desaturated ENBs that are compatible with this mod? I used the "Ruvaak Dahmaan ENB Redone" by Dragens before but neither I myself nor he could make it work together...
So, I'm gratefull for any recomendations you guys can give :)
Not true...most ENBs now fix the whole vanilla Night vision bug which is what effects this mod. Vivid Weather's ENB seems to work with this mod, and quite a few others. There is also an INI tweak you can look at doing if the ENB you are using doesn't work. OR easiest of all... you simply turn off your ENB before you use the night vision. There is away to set up a keybind to simply shut off ENB, and turn on ENB, in game while playing. You usually won't miss the ENB because of the night vision effect, just remember to turn it back on when your done. I have my night vision ( vampire ) setup to be on the same key as turning off ENB so I don't forget to turn it back on lol ...
The vibrant color version of this night eye is great. Makes me wish there was an improved color filter for the whole game, not just while using night vision. Great mod.
I have a big problem with this mod. When I load a character every mod restart as if I just instaled them and I get a light glitch, the light shut off repeatedly. If someone have an idea of how to fix that, you're welcome ^^

Is it possible to change the visual effect? With a spell or menu MCM?
This mod is really spectacular

Edit: I mean, cause it's really dark and night eye don't appear to add bright just increase color (using temeraire cause I loved the how it looks)

Either way... you have options. Good luck.
