*If it works in SE version 1.6.640.0.8, just install it like any other mod, load the game and save, load the game again and wait for the skills config option to appear, activate the gain levels option and it works correctly. and the ESP I edited it with Skyrim String Localizer I opened with override code page: 1252(latin 1) ANSI and changed to UTF-8 and saved
I usually wouldn't recommend other author's mods on someone else's page like this, but for all those who want something similar to this mod but made for SE, try Proteus. It works for AE too.
Also SIGE for LE is a more up to date Character/NPC/Weather/Etc Editor I like to use. It's very similar in concept to this mod and it works perfectly for me, *but you have to make sure you install JContainers For LE first. There's also an SEverion of SIGE too.
There's no "level gain" setting though, so instead type Player.SetLevel 100 or whatever other number you like in the `~ console if you want to change your level for whatever reason.
Since I'm recommending mods of this type I may as well mention a favorite of myne. Utility Spells. Utility Spells allows you to craft as though you're at any work station no matter where you are and allows you to teleport to any six locations you Mark, then Recall to. It's fairly lightweight too.
Skill Config is a great mod, but it was not made with SE in mind and may be somewhat out of date for LE too. I'm only trying to help.
I will delete this message upon the mod authors request, or he can feel free to do so if he returns, but I do not believe he is coming back... unfortunately....
Unfortunately no permissions as yet, and the author hasn't been around from what looks like 2017 - as much as I'd like to post it, the mods would beat me half to death if I did
I've used this mod on and off for years. Haven't played skyrim since vortex had just come out. Decided to boot it up today and I just cannot get this mod's MCM menu to appear, I've tried everything from reinstalling, cleaning, adjusting my load order, just about everything I can think of and I'm left scratching my head. It's the only mod I have installed doing this, has anyone else run into this problem recently that has a solution?
For anyone searching this thread for the answer I found what worked for me.
Try disabling every single mod you have in vortex and starting a new game. Then, for some inexplicable reason the mods will remain active anyway and this mod will load. Still trying to figure out why.
