Hello. Is this version compatible with USLEEP 3.0.15? I think it would have been a good idea, to add to the changelog the USLEEP version compatibility after an update, instead of "updated to be compatible to latest USLEEP". USLEEP 3.0.15 was released one day after EBQO, so are they now compatible or must we wait for a new EBQO version? Thanks.
Yes it is. The recent USLEEP release was just a repackage of the already released version (v3.0.15). There was absolutely nothing new in the repackaged release. Arthmoor just replaced v3.0.15 with a self-extracting installer version, which caused considerable outrage. That version has been removed and Arthmoor has restored the original v3.0.15 release.
There do not seem to be any breaking changes in USLEEP 3.0.15, and if there were, this mod would have been updated with them in mind back in July. Given that USLEEP only updates for regression fixes at this point, if it does at all, it's very unlikely that this version of EBQO needs major updates.
As stated previously, active support is focused on EBQO SE in place of this version.
Thank you very much! I am sticking to LE though. I 've spent literally years to come up with some extremely stable configurations and thus SE has no appeal to me.
This is not compatible with Extensible Follower Framework (EFF). If you disable EFF to make someone care for the store, remember to disable "betterquestobjectives-effpatch.esp" too, if you have it.
I doubt it, Paarthurnax's quest would be changed enough by the union version that EBQO's patch will probably break it, you're best served making your own patch with xEdit.
What's the best way to create a patch for it? Should I just use "copy as overwrite into" on the Union and then go through the Objective name data and replicate the EBQO style of precise directions?
Edit: I basically ended up replicating how your Dilemma patch seems to work. I copied the Union version of the quest and added similar details to the objectives that you did and then added the Union ESP file and the EBQO esp file as masters, although I'm honestly unsure whether or not the EBQO esp is required as a master.
I'd add EBQO as a master, although it's not technically required to do so, it tells tools that rely on master file sorting (like LOOT) to load your patch after EBQO and the Paarthurnax Union.
Easiest way to check would be to open up this mod + the relevant mods in TES5Edit and check for conflicts between them - if they also modify quest records that are player visible, they will most likely conflict
I can confirm that there seem to be no conflicts between Immersive Children & EBQO. The only quests added by ImCh are quests to allow burial of children NPCs that are killed and another quest to make Aventus Aretino essential until his quest is completed, these do not conflict with any quests with their objectives changed by EBQO, at least not directly.
