1. Open this mod in TES5Edit. 2. Select the Quest record. 2. Look at the actor names in the subrecords. 3. Make a name by name search in USLEEP Changelog. 4. If at any moment you do not find any entry for a name there, then use this mod. 5. Anyway, it requires a patch for USLEEP, as I say in the other post.
I'm really intrigued, and Kryptopyr does suggest it if there are problems with her Trade and Barter mod, but I'm really leery of this because it hasn't been updated since 2013 - heck he hasn't REPLIED to posts since 2013. Surely something could come up to fix since then.
ok. I installed your mod and am having some weird stuff happen. When I went to the Drunken Huntsman, he attacked me. My follower killed him before I knew what was going on. Also Saadia isn't working properly. (She won't take me upstairs)
Oh ya, Vilja killed Uthgard, (when she attacked me) and she wasn't even following me! Any Ideas? I also downloaded another mod at the same time and am wondering which one messed this up.
Some of the custom voice mod followers are your ally from the moment you start the game combat-wise it means they're on your side before you ever talk to them - had that happen with Anna's and Sofia as far as I haven't spoken to the follower yet and something attacks.. you get the idea. Not sure if Vilja is set up that way but, very likely that's the case. The interesting side of that is from the RP standpoint of this person has proven they're capable and willing so it might be a good idea to take them along, it is one heck of an intro no?
Open the console, click on the NPC to target them, then type "player.getrelationship rank" (no quotes obv). It'll return a number -4 to 4, higher numbers being better (0 is default, acquaintance, negative values are enemies, positive values are friends)
I keep getting an error in the Papyrus logs, is anyone else experiencing this? The ESP is one of the last to be loaded, because it is unrecognised by BOSS.
Error: Unable to bind script AAA_FyTy_Fixes_QuestRelationshipRanks to AAA_FyTy_FixQuestCheckRelationshipUpdate (DA000D62) because their base types do not match
It was installed manually and it should not have been overwritten because the ESP was one of the last ones to be loaded. I recently installed everything through Mod Organizer, so I can try again with that and will let you know if I am getting the same error.
Are you aware of any incompatible mods? I have installed most of the STEP mods and a few others, but I cannot immediately think of something which would alter the relationship with NPCs.
Previously, when I manually installed it: I added the two script files to the "scripts" folder (with the .psc file going in the "source" folder inside the "scripts" folder) and added the ESP file to the Data folder. I then ran BOSS and it was an unrecognised ESP, so was one of the last ESPs to be loaded.
Then I played the game a few times from the character creation through to the end of the Helgen dungeon/cave section and each time the error appeared in the logs, in the section which contains the vanilla errors. I also remember seeing it in the Papyrus logs for a 80 hour save which I copied over from the Xbox 360, which was un-modded and did not have the DLC.
EDIT: I just tested it again, with the latest version of the mod and the mods are installed through Mod Organizer. I started a new game and played up until you enter the keep with Hadvar right at the beginning. The error message is still there.
A list of my installed mods and load order is here: http://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=3202
Yes, the issue persists between saves, but I will test again tonight and report back. I saved it at the start of the game, so I can play from there for a while and check the logs afterwards.
EDIT: I just tried again, by loading the save and checking the Papyrus logs, the error is still there.

If you have too ESPs you can merge some of them easily using Merge Plugins Standalone.

Anyone else have similar problems?
That is fixed in the unofficial skyrim patch;go download it and see if that fixes the problem.

Did you use winrar or 7zip?

Try launching it with NMM or Wryebash. See if that does anything.
This mod is completely compatible with any mod out there, due to it being a custom script attached to a custom quest. That's all it is.
OOOH! If you load it up, save and then load the newly made save, does the issue still persist?
