Ok, I've just got a new PC and have Windows 10 on it. I'm going to take a look at SkyVoice once I get Skyrim back up and running and see what I can do to get it going and do any cleanup.
Goal1: Make sure it works on windows10. Goal2: Check out some of the new SKSE options, there may be a better way to get commands into Skyrim than my hacky keypress sequencing.
We'll see where things go from there, but no promises.
Also, if you have any support requests/questions please repost them. Most of these posts are pretty old so I'm not sure who's still around.
I am also using Windows 10 and the mod does not seem to work. When I say any of the words of power while on my desktop with WSR and WSRM running, it doesn't seem to recognize them as words. Can you confirm this is a windows 10 issue or have I done something wrong?
Edit: I've seen in the comments that you could feasibly use any program to send the keystrokes to the mod. Is there any chance you could throw something of a tutorial together? I'm thinking of using either VoiceBot or Voice Attack, but I have no idea where to start getting them set up.
I have a request. I was actually doing research to make a mod just like this but you guys beat me to it.
I want to incorporate autocasting spells like grimy tools has, which basically casts the spell without having to unequip your weapon. I could say "bind wounds" for example and it would cast bind wounds in the middle of a sword fight. I have alot of cool ideas and would be willing to help you develop this further if you're interested.

Ok, With many apologies for the long delay, 1.3 with Thunderchild support is up running and posted.
NOTE: With Thunderchild shouts you must prefix the first word of the shout with Aav. For example, the Thunderchild shout Allesia's Love is: Joor Drem Ov
But if you just say Joor, that could be mistaken for Dragonrend. So we add the Aav to the beginning and: AavJoor Drem Ov. so you would shout: AavJoor for the level 1 shout AavJoor Drem for the level 2 shout AavJoor Drem Ov for the level 3 shout.
It works surprisingly well for most shouts, the extra syllables let the speech engine latch on better and you'll probably find most Thunderchild shouts are better recognized than the vanilla ones.
So, I know it's been a while, but I found the SSE port of this and thought it was a fantastic Idea! I wanted to come tell you once I found out it was a port. This is so neat!
Hey! So, I made a Auto Hotkey script that makes this push to talk, in case you are talking to friends or whatnot. If you want to use it, keep in mind LCTRL can't be bound to anything in game. You can replace "Numpad0" with whatever you like :)
HERE IS HOW TO GET IT WORKING ON ALL OS's EXCEPT WINDOWS XP
Okay I've gone ahead and made a profile to make this mod go smoother. You only need the to download the esp from this mod and follow my instructions. Honestly you should all use this method. It's far superior to the default windows speech recognition
Note: You will not be using Windows Speech Recognition or it's macros with this method.
--------------------------------------
Download and install the Sky Voice ESP *ONLY*. Nothing else from this mod is needed.
Download and install voicemacro from their site: http://www.voicemacro.net/
Download my macro here: https://github.com/Searangerx/Sky-Voice/blob/master/Skyrim%20Shouts.xml
Open VoiceMacro.
Click Edit a new window will pop up
Click the Import button
Import the Skyrim Macro profile you downloaded before.
Click save
You should now be on the main Voicemacro screen. On the Right side are 3 bars. Click on them and open recognizer settings
Change Wordlist weight to 100% Change Dictionary Weight to 0% Change Recognition threshold to 90% --- Lower this as needed if it is not detecting your shouts clearly.
Uncheck Process "failed" recognitions
Click OK
You are ready to go. The app must remain running along side Skyrim to work.
--------------------------------------
If you have any questions or problems feel free to PM me or just reply to this post.
I've done everything here, exactly as described, but I cannot get it to work. Is anyone else having any luck?
NOTE: I'm using Windows 10. VoiceMacro does recognize my voice and the words, I have tried it with the target set as "active window" and as "skyrim," but it just won't activate or perform the shout in-game...? Any advice would be most appreciated!!
Followed these instructions and everything worked absolutely perfectly! Thanks so much for putting this together. No more CTDs every 20 minutes; just runs stable and solid.
For those having trouble: I had previously had Skyvoice working in Skyrim with W10, but was running into frequent CTDs that seemed to be caused by *something* related to the mod. All I did to fix it was to follow Searanger's instructions, and now everything is fine!
Worked for me as well, followed instructions to the letter. I made sure to have the VoiceMacro programme set to run as admin in properties, that might make all the difference.
Highly recommend this installation method, looks and feels much cleaner
Ok after a lot of testing I finally got it to work. You need to install the WHOLE skyvoice main file, not just dragging the ESP file.
Also, lower your recognition threshold down by a lot. The Macro might show it detect what you said, but the phrase need to be recognized to a certain level and show a green "R" before the program activate it in Skyrim.
As of the June 2010 update for Windows 10, every time I boot up Windows Speech Recognition Macros, it gives me the error; Can't start Speech Macros Windows Speech Recognition Macros was unable to initialize its command system to begin operation. Please help, this is one of the best mods in my over 500 mod load order, I really don't wanna stop using it!
Windows Speech recognition doesn't really understand me, I think it's because it's in german and so doesn't understand the shouts really. Or I have too much trouble speaking. That's unfortunate :/
I installed SkyVoice according to the instructions, WSR and Macro is running well(Macro is detecting my shouts), i activated the SkyVoice through data files, everything according to what the notes says, but i can't do any shout in game, help pls

I really hope to see an improved version of this mod. It'll be a blast.
I had to update a lot of parts in my computer and had to download all my mods and install them. Everything was working fine all week.
Now all of a sudden it just stopped working after a solid 2 weeks. Its not recognizing the WSRmacro file like it was this morning.
I cant resign the macro file, I tried deleting and replaced it and signing the new file but that also didn't work.
My next idea is to uninstall WSR and WSR Macros and reinstall everything again and see if that works.

Will there be a port for the Special Edition? I would really love to use it on my game!
Kind regards
Testing on a Win10 rig.
It looks like they might be backing off now too. Not enough yet, but...
