lol I'm just redownloading very ancient files for/from an old install... Chrome popped a warning I've never seen before today for this: "ModName is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous"
I clicked Keep and did a virus scan for funzies and it's totally fine. Chrome & Microsoft HATE ENB files. e_e
Hi, I'm not sure why but for some reason since installing this enb my game likes to suddenly freeze after a few seconds. But, I can still hear in game noises - If I swing my sword or cast a spell, i can still hear it, and im pretty sure it's running fine. However my screen gets completely stuck?
I don't know if this mod is monitored or not, but I hope someone who wanders in might help me. I've never installed an ENB before. I see all the lovely graphics and wish I knew how to get the files where they need to be and do what I need to do to make it work. I don't want my game to break
So what I've gotten from a couple of Google searches, the ENB Readme text file and reading these posts:
I now have an enbseries.ini that is already set up. Is there anything I need to do to that to "customize" it?
I've made the changes in my SkyrimPrefs.ini file that I've found.
@ PCG4m3r thank you so much for posting all that you've done, I've copied your settings as I have no idea what MY settings might be, hope you don't mind.
I put all the ENB files into my Skyrim folder (not the Data folder) and from what I saw here I am to put all the files in this mod in my Skyrim folder as well? Do any of them get put into the Skyrim/Data folder or just the main folder?
Then I read I need to not use my SKSE to launch the game the first time after installing all the files. Right? Do I use the Steam launcher or not? I read where I'm to use the Skyrim Launcher.exe to run my game the first time to choose my settings? What settings am I choosing? I mean, doesn't it pick up all the "info" from the files? That part I get really lost on.
Also, I chose the injector files as I read where most of the folks posts that I read said they couldn't run the game at all using the Wrapper files. If my game blows up on me I'll use the Wrapper files and hope for the best! What is the difference between the Injector and the Wrapper versions of the ENB files?
Oh, I run Win7 Professional, NVidia Graphics card GeForce GTX 750.
I hope I have everything set right <crosses my fingers> I'll most certainly be back if not! LOL
Thanks to whomever might respond, I'm really new to all of this and I want to learn to do it the right way from the beginning. Saves the hair pulling that will most certainly take place if I break it! It took me a long time to get my hair down to my.... well this long

I have a decent cpu (fx-8100) and 10GB of DDR3 but I have a moderately dated GPU (GTX 530 2GB) and this enb hasnt affected performance at all. I use RLO and CoT along with 174 other mods and it works perfect. I love all your mods, Well done sir!!!!

Btw, how do I uninstall it? Simply remove the files from the main directory?

one thing though, how do i alter the water reflection? everything is dark but the water shines so to speak
