I post this for anyone who has problems with enchanting and this mod.
When using this mod I found the level of enchanted items lower than the level in vanilla Skyrim. For example Fortify Alchemy was only 20%, instead of 25%..
I solved using the "maximum compatibility version" of this mod! Now the level is again 25%, how should be!
I hope this helps anyone who had the same problem of me..

Last thing: I use LOOT and the program says that tsssss file is "corrupted and should not be used" for both versions of this mod (normal and maximum compatibility). What does this mean? How can i solve? I hope someone answer this!...

This may be a stupid question but what does this mod actually do? Does it change something in enchantments or in skills themselves?

For all of you that are or are not aware, that this mod is older than the creation kit and contains buggy entries, i have released a remake and extension called Simple Magic Rebalance that is up to date with Skyrim file format, USKP 2.0 fixes and includes further damage refinements by excluding weapon Enchantments from the Destruction damage boost.

Thanks for the heads up Gruftlord, I was using Simple Skyrim Spell Scaling Solution, and wasn't aware of the buggy entries. I'm glad you uploaded an updated version of it, will switch to it asap.

Users should be aware that this is a pre construction kit mod and therefore contains out of order sub-records and null form id's, which can be confirmed by loading it up in TESVEdit and checking for errors/listing null form Id's. This can therefore potentially cause save game corruption. A shame really as I wanted to try this out but I've lost enough characters to save issues already.

is there any chance you could make a version that only changes the enchanting effects to increase magnitude, and leaves the potions with their vanilla effect of increasing magnitude?

Anyone else having a conflict with the "Insightful and Corpus Enchanter" Perks with this mod? Namely the "Fortify Crafting and Magicka Amount/Regen" values.

With 5/5 Enchanter and Insightful Enchanter 1/1 and Corpus Enchanter 1/1 I'm only getting 20% for crafting skills and 50 magicka points or 50% magicka regen. As soon as I disable this mod in the load order the crafting skills jump to 25% and the magicka stats jump to 62 points/regen which is where they should be if I'm not mistaken.

I removed all the perk points and put them back in with the console to see if that may fix it but it did not. I run this with "Better Magic" in the correct order as well. If this were to be fixed it would make a great mod perfect!

I am still struggling to get this mod running properly.

I installed both tSSSSS and Better Magic, tS is above BM in the load order.

Yet all items still have the basic descriptions (Reduced Mana Cost on Destruction etc.)
I even made new characters, with no difference whatsoever.

I am having a similar problem.

When I add fortify [Magic School] potions from the console to check if the mod is working they are lowering the cost of casting their respective schools which is right and means the mod is working (in one regard).

However, when I attempt to enchant items they are in the vanilla mode of lowering casting costs too, and it is the same with robes of [Magic School], they are still vanilla style too.

I can't think what I am doing wrong, this is a fresh character and I have the mods in the correct order - I have no conflicting mods (for example nothing affecting enchanting).

Thanks for any help in advance.

    Disregard what I posted before.

The issue was with NMM, even though I set the correct order in it, it wouldn't work.
I used Skyrim Launcher, and noticed that in "Data", mod order was still incorrect, changing it fixed the issue.

I hope this helps, seems that NMM is a deceiving stinking bugged application.
