-----Forward-----

Illia is one of the most bugged followers Bethesda introduced into the
game. The reason she is so darn buggy isn't really clear but it appears
Illia is supposed to be a onetime follower. I have attempted to remove as
many bugs as possible while making her an enjoyable follower.


First and foremost! Do the Darklight Tower Quest!!!

It is important that you finish her quest before attempting to make her a
permanent follower. You can still use this mod before starting the quest
but she could be badly bugged if you try to use the bat files on her prior
to that.

At the end of her quest you need to ask her to follow you basically to
clear her old dialog. Now for the sometimes tricky part. once you dismiss
her you can use the bat files on her. Once the bat files are used try
asking her to follow you and she should be good to go. You may have to try
it a couple times but she should be stable after that.


-----Using the Bat Files-----

Making her follow you;

Open console by pressing ~ and then click anywhere on Illia to show her
Reference ID. Then type (without quotation marks) "bat follower" and you
will see a list of console commands pop up. Now simply hit enter and close
the console by hitting the ~ key again. She should spawn follower dialog
when you initiate it now.

So you want to marry Illia?

Same process as above only type "bat spouse" and if you have visited the
priest of Mara in Riften and purchased the Amulet of Mara then she will
initiate dialog allowing you to marry her.

This file is pathed to the right directory. It will change the way tint mask "Female Imperial Warpaint 1" looks in your game.

Use the NEXUS MOD MANAGER!


-----Known Bugs-----

These are the known bugs. You may have to use the bat file again after long
periods of time not using her as a follower. You should not have to use the
bat spouse file again once you marry her. She may take a long long time to
wander back home to Darklight Tower. If you can't find her use the console
command;

"player.moveto 0004B22E"
